My little girl is growing up fast

Oh my goodness, I'm sure there's a conspiracy making time disappear too quickly.

I've just bought my darling little girl her school uniform and first pair of school shoes. I did struggle having to think of practicality over gorgeousness, especially as she had previously fetched the boys from school in her dress up Cinderella shoes in the ice!! (I held her hand tightly.)

Still, this is it, my littlest one starting out into 'proper big school' as she calls it! I really thought I would be delighted not devastated. However, she really is such fun and fab company – I shall miss our girlie times.

Joe this morning asked me what I want to be when I grow up. How sweet and how flattering, or should that be worrying? I obviously still behave like a child!

I then went into great lengths to explain I danced for money! Thinking back, it was probably not the most appropriate way to describe it – I don't think I'd like that discussed in the playground! It makes light of the years and years of ballet I endured to 'make it' as a highly professional dancer!

It turns out Joe is going to be a super hero, Maddie wants to be a kangaroo and Tom will be Batman – interesting!

It's a busy time ahead with a girlie trip to Paris – how exciting? I have to be glam yet warm, so a Dennis Basso number would definitely be the correct attire I think. So, I'm practising my French, got the Euros and just need the coat.

My to do list is huge at the moment, including a secret Santa present to take to our presenter Christmas lunch. I'm tempted to be rather cheeky, it is secret after all!

I'll say bye bye for now, but I promise to fill you in ahead of the thrilling new show QVC has coming up on the Sunday 14th December…GHD's – I'll say no more !

Lots of love
