October – in pictures!

Hello! How are you? Hows your October going? I was sad to say goodbye to September but must admit this month so far has been rather wonderful.

I thought I would sum up the first half of my October in photos (well, they do say ‘a picture says a thousand words’). So here goes…

A minty morning – I combined my favourite herbal tea (peppermint) with burning my birthday present from Steven (the Yankee Candle guest), an invigorating Fresh Mint jar candle. All in all a very reviving experience!

Warming up for Hallowe’en – when I saw this witch hat that Gill Gaunlett had on her trolley I simply had to try it on – I think I look quite cool!

i-Stay – this is a new brand coming to QVC very soon. I have been trying out the strap they make that doesn’t slip off your shoulder. It’s brilliant! I have been using it on the holdall I always carry to work and it means no more struggling. It’s also so much better for your back and shoulders to have a secure bag on you!

Oxo lunch with the Bridges – my dear friend Emma and her mum and dad (who I often call my surrogate parents!) had a lovely celebratory birthday lunch for Mr B and I. A wonderful experience!

Reaching new heights – I tried indoor climbing for the first time; scary to begin with but great fun and the friend I went with was a fantastic teacher. I am going back soon. Made me laugh that the entrance looks so prison-like – scary!

So, that is October so far! How is yours? Post a comment below, would love to hear from you.

Loved your photos so far this month. One thing you notice about October is how much earlier it is going darker at night and how the weather is changing. Love going on autumnal walks this time of the year (not when it’s raining like it is now )Have a good week and take care Sue xx

Hello Sue! Great to hear from you again!

I totally agree about the changes this time of year. I love seeing all the leaves on the ground whilst going for a lovely walk, plus it’s always lovely to go home and put the kettle on when the nights are drawing in :-).

Thank you and hope you have a great week too.
