Nikki celebrates 8 years of Lola Rose on QVC

Nikki GewirtzHi, Nikki from Lola Rose here,

I'm so thrilled to be celebrating Lola Rose's 8th anniversary on QVC. I can't believe how quickly the time has gone and how much my life has changed in the last eight years.

For starters I am a mum and a very proud one at that. I have attached a photo of my gorgeous little boy Freddie (see below left). Lola Rose has also grown beyond my expectations with our jewellery now being stocked worldwide department stores as well as most department stores in the UK.

Freddie We've also launched very successfully our new range of wool scarves, and have our bath and body range hopefully launching at the end of this year. My aim for the brand is to create all types of products that make women feel wonderful about themselves and confident in their style and own skin.

So it's been a very busy time as you can imagine. Life for me as always is one big rush and always stressful, BUT I still wake up every morning and have to pinch myself that this all started on my kitchen table 10 years ago.
I still remember my first QVC show, I was absolutely terrified and panic stricken the minute the studio lights went on, but luckily the wonderful team at QVC mastered the skill of making me feel calm and part of their family. To this day I still am a bundle of nerves before the shows, coupled with excitement, although I always worry whether they are going to get the reaction that I am hoping for.

When they do, nothing beats that feeling of all our hard work being appreciated. I also LOVE the feeling that I maybe making some lovely lady somewhere feel so happy with her purchase and bringing a smile to her day. The other wonderful experience about selling on QVC is that I can reach out to customers of all walks of life, who may not be able to visit the stores where Lola Rose is currently being sold.
My anniversary shows start today (and continue on Saturday and Sunday too!) – I do hope that you'll all tune in to watch as I will be bringing you so much newness that I am exploding with excitement about it!

I'm struggling to pick out my fave pieces to review as there are so many, but one to watch out for is definitely the Africa necklace. This piece is huge and definitely not for those who can't wear heavy pieces. It's stylish, cool and totally on trend with its large irregular pieces of stone. I've brought this to you in the natural stones and my best has to the be the multi grey agate.
Lola Rose Annalise bracelet A complete contrast to the above is the Annalise bracelet, featuring my first flower pendant.  This is so sweet and is inspired by a vintage wrist corsage that I found in my grandma's jewellery box.  This design is a must-have for the summer and would look equally great as a complement to a wedding outfit or summer party, as it would worn casually with a pair of jeans and a pretty top.
Back to big, and you will not be able to miss my favourite ring of this season – Bronwyn! This extra large smooth cabochon sits perfectly on any finger (probably avoid the little finger though) and will be sure to get you noticed wherever you go. I used the delicate shades of lemon, aqua and coral that will hopefully complement your summer wardrobe. I wear the coral one most days and although it's a large ring, I find it extremely comfortable and importantly also very flattering on my hands.

If you are watching the shows on 20th, 21st or 22nd May please call in or text, I'd love to hear from you!

Much love,
Nikki x

What a wonderful blog Nikki, it’s always nice to hear more about the designer and what inspires you,Freddie is gorgeous, what lovely big eyes, he’s going to be a heartbreaker!
I have so many of your pieces and will certainly not own up to how many over the years, I love them and wear them every day.
I stack the tumble bracelets, and have bought them for freiends, the are always well recieved. I love the hearts, especially the huge juicy ones, and my big rings I wear with pride.
I always buy in to the new colours and mix them up, they just go with everything and every occasion.
Nikki my favourite earrings of yours are the Paloma, please bring them back in different colours, I know you now do a smaler design (Helen) but these are my faves and I would love more…Thanking you in anticipation… Thank you for all my wonderful jewellery.

How lovely to be able to speak to the designer, that’s why QVC is so great, it feels like we all know Nikki!. How can I express how happy and confident Lola Rose makes me feel, it has become a signature for me because I wear it every day! I now have about 100 pieces and every evening I think about which Lola Rose I am going to wear the next day and then my clothes have to go with the jewellery! At the moment my Cassandra bracelet in Blue Sandstone is one of my favourites and in the morning when I go through a London Village on the bus the sun comes streaming through the window and my wrist lights up with silver, gold, red, and blue sparkles and I can see people looking at it- its just so beautiful and I have to pretend I am not really looking! I also have it in the multi grey stone, it is moody and dramatic like a storm I have to keep touching and staring at it. Don’t worry, I am perfectly sane!!!
Nikki, can I please make a request-Please can we have some rings in large sizes, size V for me would be nice. I have never been able to buy any rings and I would really love a really big flower ring. It could be just for QVC. I would soo love it.
Today I have bought the Serena in Gold Sandstone and the Jemima in Red and I know I am going to be glued all weekend, I’ve told my husband it is going to be a Lola Rose weekend. Thank you for being so talented and bringing so much pleasure in your designs, it is my treat to myself and long may you continue.

Hi Nikki, Loving the anniversary shows and have already ordered 4 pieces today. Might have to sit on my hands as I’m not sure my funds will last all weekend. I have many, many pieces of your jewellery and whenever I wear them I feel very feminine and can never stop looking at them or playing with them. I have now got my 74 year old mum into Lola Rose and my 6 year old daughter always tells me which pieces I should wear. I am addicted to your Tabitha bracelet and have it in several colours but would love earrings and a necklace in that smartie style stone. Thank you for all your lovely designs.
