I'm so thrilled to be celebrating Lola Rose's 8th anniversary on QVC. I can't believe how quickly the time has gone and how much my life has changed in the last eight years.
For starters I am a mum and a very proud one at that. I have attached a photo of my gorgeous little boy Freddie (see below left). Lola Rose has also grown beyond my expectations with our jewellery now being stocked worldwide department stores as well as most department stores in the UK.
We've also launched very successfully our new range of wool scarves, and have our bath and body range hopefully launching at the end of this year. My aim for the brand is to create all types of products that make women feel wonderful about themselves and confident in their style and own skin.
So it's been a very busy time as you can imagine. Life for me as always is one big rush and always stressful, BUT I still wake up every morning and have to pinch myself that this all started on my kitchen table 10 years ago.
I still remember my first QVC show, I was absolutely terrified and panic stricken the minute the studio lights went on, but luckily the wonderful team at QVC mastered the skill of making me feel calm and part of their family. To this day I still am a bundle of nerves before the shows, coupled with excitement, although I always worry whether they are going to get the reaction that I am hoping for.
When they do, nothing beats that feeling of all our hard work being appreciated. I also LOVE the feeling that I maybe making some lovely lady somewhere feel so happy with her purchase and bringing a smile to her day. The other wonderful experience about selling on QVC is that I can reach out to customers of all walks of life, who may not be able to visit the stores where Lola Rose is currently being sold.
My anniversary shows start today (and continue on Saturday and Sunday too!) – I do hope that you'll all tune in to watch as I will be bringing you so much newness that I am exploding with excitement about it!
I'm struggling to pick out my fave pieces to review as there are so many, but one to watch out for is definitely the Africa necklace. This piece is huge and definitely not for those who can't wear heavy pieces. It's stylish, cool and totally on trend with its large irregular pieces of stone. I've brought this to you in the natural stones and my best has to the be the multi grey agate.
A complete contrast to the above is the Annalise bracelet, featuring my first flower pendant. This is so sweet and is inspired by a vintage wrist corsage that I found in my grandma's jewellery box. This design is a must-have for the summer and would look equally great as a complement to a wedding outfit or summer party, as it would worn casually with a pair of jeans and a pretty top.
Back to big, and you will not be able to miss my favourite ring of this season – Bronwyn! This extra large smooth cabochon sits perfectly on any finger (probably avoid the little finger though) and will be sure to get you noticed wherever you go. I used the delicate shades of lemon, aqua and coral that will hopefully complement your summer wardrobe. I wear the coral one most days and although it's a large ring, I find it extremely comfortable and importantly also very flattering on my hands.
If you are watching the shows on 20th, 21st or 22nd May please call in or text, I'd love to hear from you!
