News about Morning Style, and a new fashion brand!

Kathy TaylerRegular viewers will know that Kathy Tayler's weekly Morning Style show is currently on a hiatus during the summer months, but a break from Morning Style doesn't mean that we are treading water with the fashion we bring you.

We've got a exciting news about a new brand launching at QVC soon, and a little update about the return of Morning Style. And who better to bring you the news than Kathy herself!

As you probably know, one of my favourite things about QVC is the gorgeous fashion we offer – I truly believe we have something to suit and satisfy everyone, and that is largely what my Morning Style show is all about – helping you make QVC fashion work for you.

The show has just started a summer break but the good news is we'll be back with a bang on August 13th. Our comeback show will be themed around creating a capsule wardrobe for autumn, featuring some stunning and versatile pieces from the new autumn collections.

In the meantime, I'm thrilled to be able to tell you about a brand new name in fashion… Sylvia Mori.

We have premiere shows on Wednesday 2nd July at 2pm with me and at 8pm with Catherine Huntley. And although there's a couple of days yet before the premiere, that hasn't stopped me from grabbing a couple of outfits to try out, and I've posed for a couple of photos to give you an idea of the sort of style this range will bring you.

I asked Cat – one of our backstage floor staff – to take the pictures on my mobile phone, so the background is messy and there's no special lighting or anything, but I think the quality and detail of the garments is obvious.

I'm wearing a crepe knitted cardigan with a button fastening on the left, and in the second picture I have on this gorgeous printed tunic with mesh shoulders. If they're not available to buy online yet, keep trying – they will be soon!

I also spotted an absolutely gorgeous pale blue dress with a double layer fabric and a pleat in the front of the floaty top layer. There wasn't an example on hand for me to model for you, but look out for it on the show – I'll be watching keenly myself!

The label was started in 1986 by Sylvia Mori and creative entrepreneur Marino Sossi. You might have guessed from their names that this is an Italian range, and everything is designed and made in that most fashionable of countries. A chic and contemporary feel runs through the designs, with real attention to the little details, but they are also practical and wearable.

It is currently one of the most popular fashion brands on QVC Italy, so we're really excited to be able to bring it to the UK – it isn't on sale anywhere else in the country. I'm particularly happy about the prices – when I first saw some of the clothes I thought 'Chic, stylish, Italian flair? Expensive!' – whereas, in fact, the dresses are around the £50 mark, while tops and knitwear range between £30 and £60 before P&P.

So whether you're looking to mix and match some separates or to find that special stand-out piece for your wardrobe, do try to tune into QVC next Wednesday. If you are someone who follows the fashion trends but also likes to put your own twist on your look, you'll be delighted with what you see!

And do put 13th August in your diary – Morning Style will be back at 10am!
