New Prima crafting range launches on QVC!

Prima floral bird cardHi crafters, Caroline from the QVC Craft Prep Studio here!

It’s been yet another busy week in the Prep Studio. As we crafters all know, busy crafting = happiness, and I have been very happy making up samples using the beautiful Prima crafting goodies that are in this week's show.

I have especially loved working with the beautiful Prima paper pads - you get three 6" x 6" pads in each option – and then you can combine these papers with the Prima metal craft pins.

Prima birdcage cardCrafting with Prima's carefully thought-out range means that colours and combinations have been done for us, so all we have to do is enjoy the creative part of putting it all together.

If you love Prima products as much as I do, or if you have never crafted with them before, then here’s a peek at some of the cards which will be on the Crafting with Stephanie Weightman show this Wednesday 14th November at 2pm. Watch out for the Prima Resist Flowers - these paper flowers have a resist design already on them. When you add inks or something like spritzers to them the colour sinks into the background, leaving the surface Prima teacup cardpattern showing through.

On this card I used dusky pink and taupe spritzers from my crafting stash and you can see the gentle colours allow the resist pattern to show through. Combine these flowers with other elements like pearl flourishes and co-ordinating papers and embellishments.

I’ve really enjoyed sharing these cards with you before the show and hopefully they will fuel you with some inspiration to get crafting.

Until next time,

Caroline x

I note there is no craft show today, 21st Nov! Why? Someone could stand in, we have little enough craft shows, we have a speed thru of an item if it sells out part way or before demo, really qvc, i for one have spent thousands of pounds on caft items thru you, as im sure other crafters have done also, as loyal qvc customers i think hat qvc should show a has a duty to us to keep videos, demos, samples of cards available to us to veiw so we have guidance and inspiration on how to use kits, items etc. Other craft channels do this and im now tending toward watching thier shows for how to use and inspiration. Please domt let us crafters down, the show must go on!

Craft shows are now a joke. Where is Amy Shaw, she was by far the best. Sorry but I for one is not a fan of Stephanie’s style
of crafting. I hope things get better in 2013. You must have had many similar comments, but come on QVC I hour a week is a poor effort when there are too many hours of beauty products to count! Not sure if, or where this comment will end up as there is not longer a designated craft forum

Is there any chance of seeing Marion Emberson back on again? I do miss the great variety in her shows including the scrapbook masterclass she gave.
