New boy Daniel and new schedules…

Toby playing outside Hi everyone,

Thanks again for all the lovely comments about Toby, he's doing really well. Here's a pic of him playing outside!

I had a coffee with our new boy Daniel - he is an experienced presenter in the US and we thought it’d be a good opportunity to compare styles between here and the US. I reminded him of some phrases that are OK to use there and not here – as you can imagine we had quite a laugh together!

The Presenters have moved onto new schedules, which means I'll be returning to later shifts primarily, with a week of 'mid' shifts as well. I presented on the late shift for several years and I’ve often been asked which I prefer – to be honest there are good and not-so-good factors with both.
I very much enjoyed being part of the initial Morning Show team, but I suppose my body clock prefers the later hours. I got tired of having to iron my face out each morning – as you saw I wasn’t very good at ironing!!

It’s good to have a move around the schedule once in a while as not all viewers can watch at the same time every day. You may also notice that we present shows in blocks now rather than being spread out across the day, which I must say I prefer.

Hope you're all well,

Dale x

    HI Dale
I want your Toby, he is adorable. I want to cuddle him, i think my dog would be rather jealous though, he likes the cuddles for himself. You are obviously doing a fab job with him.
I had noticed the schedules had changed. I watch a lot of qvc at all different times, so i will catch you anyway. You are one of my fave’s.
    Take care,

Dale, Toby is so cute!! So fluffy and such a sweet expression on his face! I have a 6 month old border collie called Scrappy, he’s mainly white with black patches and has mis-matched eyes – one brown, and one blue! He’s mad and full of energy and I love him greatly. I hope you have many happy years with your little bundle of joy!

    Hi Dale,
Toby is growing into a handsome dude! (You’ve got competition!!!!!!!!!!!!) He looks like a collie at the back end and Charlie Bears Diesel bear at the front end!!!!!!!!!! Bless his fluffy feet!
    Best Wishes,
