New beauty names and launches for 2017

2017 is a very exciting year at QVC, and we kick off with lots of brilliant beauty launches to ensure your routine is as up to date as you want it to be.

We have fabulous new ranges if you love brands with a heritage story and a love of exotic ingredients. Watch out for the New Zealand brand Antipodes, which Elizabeth, the founder, has created to champion local ingredients and provide cutting edge formulas to give all of her products a modern, elegant texture and a scientifically validated mission. Her key ingredient is Vinanza, taken from New Zealand grapes, along with nutrient-rich avocado oil and antibacterial Manuka honey. It’s an excellent range for sensitive skin, with every product housed in cool apothecary jars that will look amazing on your dressing table or in your bathroom cabinet.

In contrast, we are extending our offering of cosmeceuticals to include Transformulas, who market themselves as a ‘beauty without surgery’ brand. You can add in targeted treatments like their Lip Volume, which can be used on its own on a younger lip or added to your existing lip care routine to increase results. This peptide-rich formula gives the lips an instant buzzy feeling, and a pretty, flushed look. It feels like a balm but looks like a gloss and performs like a serum! They also have a product which creates an eye-lift effect, so watch out for that to tighten up the look of a baggy, lined or puffy eye contour.

NIOD skincare at QVC

Continuing on a science theme, QVC has been instrumental in bringing you straight-from-the-lab products, and 2017 will be no exception following on from the amazing products from NIOD we saw in 2016. NIOD falls under the Deciem umbrella, and Deciem offer some other fantastic brands – one of which we are launching this year, called Fountain. Make sure to check out the upcoming Hyaluronic Molecule Drink, which you take every day and can even mix into your water, juice or smoothie!

Filorga skincare collection

If you love face masks, cleansers and all things pampering, Filorga offer an extensive range of products to help firm and tone your skin, help with anti-ageing, and keep you looking hydrated and fresh-faced. Try their Ultimate Ageless Skincare Collection for an easy way to get to know the brand – it’s a trio of products offering a mask, serum and wrinkle treatment.

A remedy-lead brand that I’m looking forward to working with is First Aid Beauty. Their formulas are great for sensitive skin types, and their Ultra Repair Cream is a lovely multi-purpose product to take with you on holiday or on hospital visits, to keep skin feeling supple, comforted and moisturised.

Later in the year we’ll also be launching 111 Skin, a Harley Street brand developed by Dr. Yannis Alexandrides, who combines extensive industry experience with a passion for developing exciting new innovations in anti-ageing skincare. Stay tuned for that one!

Lastly, do take advantage of us being the only It Cosmetics stockist in the UK – their brilliant Bye Bye Under Eye concealer has won a QVC Beauty Excellence award, and it’s a must-try!

These are just some of the new brands that we are launching this year, but there will be plenty of new products, launches and exclusive firsts from your favourites in 2017 too, such as Decleor, Elemis, Taya, OPI, Tarte and Bareminerals.

The list is fabulously endless, so the best way to keep up to date in the best beauty from around the world, is right here at QVC.

At a beauty bash which I was very lucky to attend, Julie from OPI thought I may have a fault line on my nail, (very pronounced ridge) and suggested oil/hydration may sort it out. I am religiously oiling and hand creaming but still not right. I am buffing ridges monthly but if I put colour on there is a positive line on my nail. Nail envy continually used hasn’t helped either. Your comments/advice would be appreciated,
    Many thanks Jan

Hi Jeanette, did you get a reply?

Alison, please could you give me some advise on eye creams. I have used various ones from QVC but would like to know which one you think would be best for bags under the eyes. I can put up with wrinkles & red eyes as that can be covered with concealer but the start of bags are much harder to hide. I know some products are mainly for targeting under eye bags. Would be grateful for your advise. Many thanks June.
