My X Factor confession!

Hi everyone, I hope you are all well and staying out of the rain!

I have decided to come clean this week and admit that I am officially addicted to X Factor! I was on my way to QVC during the results show on Sunday night and my kids were ringing me every 15 minutes with who had got through in each catergory.

By the time I got home it was 4am and I just had to watch it. So there I am snuggled on the sofa under my fleecey throw with a packet of choclate fingers until five in the morning blubbing my eyes out and I already knew who had gone through anyway!

I really like Jamie from the over 25s. My little girl absolutely loves Stacey, who I also think is great and my son really likes John and Edward, which has made me wonder where I've gone wrong in my parenting!

Is anyone else insanely addicted to X Factor or is it just me ? If you are, who do you think is gonna win?

Much love,

sorry gilly I’m a strictly come dancing girl!!!
My teenagers watch x factor though and I do watch some of the live shows – I prefer that to all the auditions and boot camp.
I do wish that they would work it out between them so we could watch both shows as a family.I really think its not like “back in our day” where we all watched the tv togther on a sat night – i remember watching dustybin, generation game, price is right etc with my mum and dad on a sat night – its a shame these current shows can’t wotk it out because its something we could all watch together!!!
Sorry gilly rant over!! I love you at qvc – I don’t know how you manage all your shifts and your family time too
    take care – rosie x

    Hi Jilly
I watch x-factor and Im hoping either Jamie Affro(AS THEY CALL HIM ON X-FACTOR) wins or some of the girls are good.I feel the same as you about those 2 irritating wee Irish boys.Hope they are out soon.
Bye the way I think I remember seeing you and your family a while ago on family fortunes.Would I be correct in saying that? I seem to remember you had long curly hair! I like watching you on QVC,you always seem to be very laid back and nothing seems to irritate you.Whats your secret?
    Take Care Jilly

    Hi Jilly
Like you Iam also addicted to the X Factor, but I do love to watch Strictly come dancing too, which make my husband crazy because I keep going from BBC1 to ITV to watch them both at the same time, like Rosie I wish they can work it out and change the time of one of them. Like you I love Jamie and I do hope he wins, but I also agree with your daughter Stacy is got a great voice, so I do hope one of them win.
Just watched tonight”s show and can not believe that Rikki got voted off while Jhon & Edward carry on, they are so bad, hope your son forget about them soon.
    All the best.

Sorry Jilly but I am strictly a Strictly girl too. Thank goodness for Sky plus in case I am going out and might miss it. Just a thought – do any of the QVC presenters fancy a go at Strictly Come Dancing, and who do you think would be best (and worst). It certainly would be worth watching.

We tape X Factor so we can wind on the dreaded adverts and cut time.We watch strictly.Love both shows but doubt if X Factor will find another as good as Leona Lewis

Hi Jilly, I am also addicted to the x factor and its all my sons fault – He has recently been ill (after having his appendix out) so he watched the x factor on the main TV and I was like a crying reck by the end of it…
When they say who’s got through and who hasn’t is nerve wracking for me so i don’t know how they manage on the show!
I really like Jamie (In the overs) and Lucie (in the girls)
Mind you Stacey (girls) is also very talented…
John and Edward do make me wonder on the whole hearing status of Louis Walsh mind… i think he hears something different from almost everyone else!

Sorry forgot to add that cora hall, I think that Alexandra Burke (last years winner) is already as good and will get better than Leona Lewis…
    Do U agree?
