Everything you need to know on my upcoming bird food offer

8

One of the biggest enjoyments for me in my garden is feeding the birds. I just love watching them flock to the feeders, they bring colour and life to the garden, and by feeding them, I know I’m helping some of them survive the crucial winter and spring/summer breeding season.

A few years ago, I noticed that the quality of the bird food I was buying had begun to deteriorate so I decided to develop a better type of bird food. I worked with top specialists on a new feed designed to attract a wider range of birds to the garden all year round, and to feed them better.

I wanted my bird food to be different from ordinary bird foods. I wanted it to be extra high energy, with up to four times the amount of energy compared with standard bird food. This is crucial, especially in the winter (when a blue tit, for instance, need to consume up to 30% of their body weight in food every day in winter just to survive).

I also formulated it with a special mix of seeds, designed to appeal to different size birds, with different size bills, and each ingredient was chosen for their nutritional benefit, especially their respective oil, protein, vitamin and energy levels. And, just as important, my bird food had to be 100% free of wheat flakes, a cheap filler used in many bird foods which have virtually no nutritional benefit.

I was delighted with the results in my garden, and so I introduced my bird food on a small trial basis on QVC a few years ago. I was taken aback by the enthusiastic reception it got, with some gardeners being kind enough to call it the best bird food they’ve ever used.

But after four years, I’ve made it even better! I’ve added extra energy rich sunflower hearts (which all birds love) and added protein rich dried meal worms (which Robins and young fledglings adore).

This Saturday, January 7th,we’re offering this great bird feed in a huge size of 14kg. Incredibly, this bigger bag will cost  less than the 12.75kg bag currently available at QVC. It’s a truly cracking deal, and it’s our best value bird food offer ever.

It’s available on Auto Delivery at the Today’s Special Value price, for up to four more deliveries 60 days apart. So that means you can secure this incredible price for deliveries from January to September, helping the birds not just through the winter, but also into the spring breeding period, and the crucial fledgling stages in the summer.

Who’d have thought we could make my bird food even better – but we have! Please join us on Saturday for our amazing Today’s Special Value, and I’ll be delighted to show you how good it is.

Happy gardening,

Richard

Hi there Richard, my name is Jeremy & I’ve been a fan of Flower Power for about six years now, I think its awesome stuff!
A few years back I remember that you presented some moss or dryed moss type thing where it required water being poured onto it & it sort of expanded, it was for use in hanging baskets & the like, unfortunatly I missed out on getting some & I’ve never seen it since, is there any chance of bringing it back please?
I have a three tier iron planter in the garden that I really would like to use next year, but I really dont want to use a black plastic bag to stop the compost falling through because it looks so unsightly.
P.s I notice that you have a TSV in January, can’t wait! All the best, Jeremy.

Excellent, excellent news. I had my fingers crossed that this tsv would be your bird food, and the birds had their wings crossed too, as they love it. And for it to be a new mix and cheaper…what’s not to like?! Thank you and nearly Happy New Year!

Hi Richard. How do I keep the bigger birds of my feeders. The little birds cannot get near it and the bigger birds chase them away. I want to keep putting your seed in the feeders but I think most of it going to feed the starlings. Any advice would really be appreciated
