My top QVC picks…

6

Pipa with her childrenAs you know we are celebrating 20 years of QVC and have been looking back over two decades of change, development, growth and plenty of giggles!! I've been here since 2001 and it's been eye opening and hilarious all the way… not to mention highly productive for me too as my children came along during this time as well!

I've met hundreds and hundreds of wonderful people both in the studio and out and about which I would never have had the pleasure of doing before… quite frankly I think I have the best job and I love every minute of it, particularly getting my hands on some phenomenal products!

I have to tell you choosing just this many was a task!! So here is my list of ones that I have loved over the years and continue to love right now…

Tea Tree Oil

ABC Tea Tree OilHonestly, from having my belly button pierced a VERY long time ago to post childbirth, fending off bugs on safari in Tanzania, dousing on the children as they sleep when there are mozzies around, trickling over cuts, gargling when my throat is sore – this is my mini miracle maker! I honestly could not be without it!!

Decleor Hydra Radiance Cleanser

Decleor Hydra Radiance CleanserWhen I first came to QVC, I was in my 20s and a beauty regime didn't really exist in my life. Now having reached my 40s, my skin needs much more investment and TLC. During my 13 years so far here, I've had the privilege and joy of trying out hundreds of great products.

I'm a bit obsessed with cleansing properly as I'm not great at doing treatments, so I figure if I look after my skin daily, rather than hit it every now and then, it'll be ok! Using this cleanser in the morning has dramatically reduced any redness in my skin and keeps it really well balanced through the day. I love it.

cook's essentials pans

cook's essentials setOh gosh, the plight of the pan!! I'd been through all sorts of stainless ones and non-stick ones, until I came to QVC – all different price points… I'd tried the lot! However, since we launched cook's essentials pans, I've not used anything else. In fact, my only bug bear is that they last so well, it's hard to find an excuse to get new ones!!

Northern Nights duvet and pillows

Northern Nights beddingI NEED at least eight, if not nine hours of sleep every night. I've got quite a hefty dust allergy so having always had horrible synthetic pillows and duvets, the hyper-cleaned down and feather in Northern Nights has been a dream come true for me :)

Sarah Chapman cleansing balm

Sarah Chapman cleanserBack to cleansing, coupled with my love of make-up – this is my FAVOURITE cleansing balm. To be honest, they are all brilliant, but this is my one of choice. It dissolves the toughest make-up without any effort at all which means I can get to bed quicker and my skin isn't red raw from pulling and tugging – love it!

Lola Rose scarf

Model wearing a Lola Rose scarfNicki gave me one years and years ago and I've LIVED in it! My sister constantly tries to steal it. It's the one I wear in the iPhone app ad you see on screen. It just seems to make a dull every day jeans and top outfit suddenly come together! With flattering colours and quirky designs – I love them all to be honest!

Jack French bags

Jack French handbagOh Mr gorgeous Jack French how I love thee!!!!! Since I launched his range on QVC a couple of years ago, I can honestly tell you that there have probably been only a handful of days that I haven't used one of his bags, I LOVE them!! They are grown up, but trendy. They look immensely stylish and yet they are practical and exceptionally well made. Worth EVERY penny!!

EMU Stinger Hi boots

EMU bootsEvery day at some stage these are on my feet. I wear them all year round. Inside, outside, school runs, camping, shopping – I live in them! They are robust, easy, comfortable – the BEST value per wear you could think of! Currently I'm in grey and pastel pink ones. The pink ones I've had for at least five years and they still look great. I can't imagine life without them!

Furminator

FurminatorMy gorgeous lab Tynor loves to be brushed with this. It gives him the best coat on the field and everyone comments on his shine!

Tom Tom

Tom TomThis has transformed my driving experience! Commuting in and out of London with Tom Tom live is so much less stressful than before as I know exactly how long the delays are ahead of me which is a life saver. More recently, house hunting and driving around a new area, it's also been of huge value, not to mention the odd trip to France, I love it!

Oreck vacuum cleaner

Oreck vacuum cleanerMy parents had one of these when I was a teenager so when it came along to QVC I was already aware of what a God send it is. It's lightweight, easy, effective and when the babies were tiny, I would even vacuum with a baby in one arm and the Oreck in the other (you know what I mean!) – it's brilliant!

I gave one to my mum recently as her left side doesn't work any more due to a stroke a number of years ago which has limited her independence dramatically. Her face beamed with delight as she was able to manage a little vacuuming again, it was wonderful!!!

LED glasses

LED glassesCrazy as it may seem, these HAD to be in my top picks! I don't wear glasses so I got the 0.0 version of these, which are BRILLIANT!! It's like having your own set of headlights! From painting my nails in the evening to doing fiddly DIY, reading in bed and walking up the stairs when the lights are turned off- these HAVE to be one of my favourite ever purchases not to mention the fact they are GUARANTEED hilarity which is great for the soul!

Shavata pointed tweezers

Shavata tweezersWell what can I say? Using any other tweezer now is like using a pair of spoons! This is the swiss army knife for us girls not to mention the eyebrow perfector – can't live without this either.

I've had so much fun putting this list together!! It's really hard to whittle it down, so my challenge to you is what's your top THREE?!

Looking forward very much to reading about them!

Take care

Pipa x

Hi Sherren, yes it’s Tahitian Bronze by Laura Geller. If that’s not in stock, Daniel Sandler’s million dollar body shimmer is also brilliant, I use them both xx
