My special guest this Monday!

Julia Roberts' bookJoin me on The Morning Show on Monday 4th March as I have the opportunity to interview a unique and special guest, who you all know so well… Julia Roberts! It’s funny how things work out at QVC – one minute I haven’t read a book in ages and then I get the chance to read Richard Jackson’s latest book.

Just as my eyes are beginning to suffer (as I still hadn’t got round to getting any reading glasses)… along comes a readers TSV, with a men’s option! Just as well, as Julia’s autobiography is finished and I have been reading it too, in preparation for our chat on Monday morning.

I don’t think one of QVC’s presenters has been a proper guest on a show before and none of us have had the courage to write an autobiography, so it’s going to be quite a special occasion! I have known Julia for about eight years and yet in the last week or so I have learned so much more about her, her family and her life before QVC and I'm sure that many of you who have ‘known’ Julia for even longer than I have will find it a fascinating read.

The book is entitled 'One Hundred Lengths of the Pool' and Julia will be explaining all about it first thing in the morning, on Monday 4th March, so get the kettle ready and join us all at 9am!

Hi Simon, good luck for Monday! I haven’t messaged you before but you are a really lovely man and great presenter. It’s funny we often don’t know a lot of things about our colleagues so not surprising you have learnt new things! Hope you will write your own one day? Wish we all could write one! But no doubt wouldn’t all get published. Lol. Take care,Susan x

    Dear Susan
How very lovely to receive your message and your kind comments. I’m not sure too many people would interested in my life story and I would definitely have to secure a ghost writer as my literary skills leave a great deal to be desired. However, my Mum has taken the plunge and is committing all her stories to print( at least in her computer) so we, the family, can read them one day.
    Nice to hear from you.

    Hi Simon,
Oh I am quite sure MANY of us would be interested in your life too! I remember seeing you on BCC with Carol Smilie…now you must have a fair few stories there!? I think it’s lovely that your Mum is writing her own stories down. We all should really for our families shouldn’t we! Really enjoy your presenting so keep up the good work!
Take care in this snow again!!
