To celebrate 20 years of QVC in the UK, we've invited a host of celebrities, journalists, bloggers and QVC presenters to share with us their pick of QVC's range of products, and to tell us what they like most about shopping with QVC.
Sonia Juttla is the beauty editor for Stella, the women's magazine for The Sunday Telegraph, and is passionate about seeking out the next big skincare craze or colour-popping make-up!
What do you like most about QVC as a retailer?
"It brings a whole host of excellent brands together under one roof. The presenters are incredibly passionate, too!"
Explain why you selected your top QVC pieces
"They are just the practical, efficient products I like to use myself. I find I never go for the on-trend products as I'll inevitably try them once and switch back to my fail-safe finds."
What are your top tips for selecting the right products to suit your needs?
"With anything, I'd say go for mainly neutral with pops of colour. So for instance, with make-up, I'd keep everything quite simply and do a grey smoky eye with a soft pink lipstick, or bright red lipstick with simple black kohl.
"It's the same for fashion, too: I normally wear something quite minimalist with straight lines and add a bright print somewhere in the outfit, and with interiors I always stick to a monochrome theme, lots of black and white, and then a burst of colour here and there. My favourite shade right now is duck egg blue – I can't get enough of it!"
What are your essentials in terms of beauty, fashion, jewellery and home style?
"For beauty, an illuminating primer that will make your skin glow, a black mascara and a matte pink lipstick. For fashion, I love a good men's navy shirt, and some black court shoes are a must. I love gemstone earrings (have this fab green Monica Vinader pair that always get compliments). And for home, I love rugs and cushions – It's all about the soft furnishings!"
