Thank you all so much for the amazing response to my blog about Toby and the electric fence, I really loved reading some of your stories. I have been away for the best part of three weeks so I’ve been blogless, but I’ll hope to make up for it this week with two.
First one then – you may have read in an earlier blog that I bought the Z33WP Waterproof Camera from Fuji – well I got to really test it on holiday this year and as I said before – It’s just amazing!! I’ve posted a short movie clip of one of my snorkelling adventures, and a few still shots at the end (at the bottom of the blog).
I bought it as a family camera and it went down a treat with the kids who filled a whole SD card filming ”The best dive or bomb-into-the-pool competition”. Needless to say I won the competition hands down with a spectacular pool-emptying effort that scored maximum points with the judges and a big fat zero from Mrs F who had to dry her book out before she could begin reading it again – Oops! And no the effort wasn’t caught on camera because my son was laughing so much – shame!
What was caught on camera were fish and anemones, shot in the crystal waters off Menorca – I first snorkelled there when I was about 12 years old and it’s been a holiday must-do ever since.
I hope you enjoy the clip. Please bear in mind that I had to heavily compress the file for the web, but the original quality is stunning, but you’ll get a good idea.
Toby was in the wars whilst we were away but I’ll fill you in with more details later this week. In the meantime I’d love to hear from any of you who also love to snorkel!
