My bouquet from our new service, Floric

19

Julia's favourite freesias from FloricAs a lover of flowers, I was thrilled that QVC decided to do a bouquet in my name for our great new service, Floric. I love anything fragrant but I also love colour as well so freesias seemed the perfect choice for me, particularly as they come wrapped around in lavender tissue paper.

Don't expect a big bouquet because by the very nature of the flower it will be smaller BUT do expect a big aroma. Within 30 minutes of my flowers arriving, the fragrance had permeated almost every room of the house. That mix of sweetness with a hint of pepper is just gorgeous, and a little splash of colour on dismal autumn and winter days.

So I can confirm, 'good things come in small (but very robust) packages'!

    Hi Julia
FANTASTIC show last night. That Charlie boy is a cheeky one!!!!!!
Poor wee soul was almost stripped bare by the end of the evening. Someone even wanted him to take off his cufflinks and hand them over!
I couldnt believe how quickly everything sold out. I was quick enough to get the lovely Beth Terrell pink gloves, and the Gossip watch. Now my friend wants one too, so I will have to keep checking to see if one maybe makes its way back to QVC for some reason!
CONGRATULATIONS on such a wonderful evening Julia.
    Lots of love

    Hi Una
So glad you enjoyed the BCC Show, and glad you managed to get the Gossip Watch and gloves. I wanted one of the watches but no chance – even we weren’t allowed to buy before the event!
Charlie was on good form wasn’t he?!?!?
    much love

    Hi Julia
Awe, thats a bit mean. Never mind, you still have your popcorn watch!!
I was so glad I got the gloves. I have been looking for a few weeks, to find a pair. I got a 3/4 length sleeve jacket recently, and had my mind set on pink gloves, but I could only find short length ones, and they just looked silly.
I decided to send the watch to my daughter for xmas, and it seems even more special as it was bought for such a good cause.
    Lots of love Julia

    Hello Dee,
I don’t know the final amount raised but it was in excess of £417,000 which is a FANTASTIC result!!!!! Thanks to everyone for helping QVC support Breast Cancer Care.
The ‘Powers that Be’ decide which charities QVC supports throughout the year – maybe drop a line to our Chief Executive Officer??

    Hi Joanne
Thanks for the compliment – I’ll pass it on to Charlie too. Although it was exhausting we were both delighted to be asked to host the event this year.
I’m looking forward to the whole of our Fashion Weekend but particularly to my 2 hour shows with Simon x 2!!!!!
Why don’t you call in or text?

    Hello caroline
So pleased you enjoyed the BCC show – it was pretty manic wasn’t it?!? My dress is not available from QVC – I bought it from Aftershock in Allders, Croydon, but that was about 5 years ago so I’m pretty sure they won’t have it now. Sorry I can’t be more helpful

    Hi Caroline
So pleased to hear you entered into the spirit in your QVC attire. I wonder if you treated yourself to a new Ronni dress over the weekend? – and of course Diamonique Day on Wednesday!

    Hi Julia and thanks :o)
I didn’t manage to get any Ronni dresses over the weekend but have got my eye on 3 of them that I saw on your webpage where models were demonstrating how to wear the new winter fashions – the gold flecked jersey dress, the printed dress with embellished neckline and the dress with foil detail, and the perfect jewellery item to go with them will be the diamonique tennis bracelet which you mentioned in your blog…..if that’s not a good excuse to buy I don’t know what is lol. Looking forward to your show,
    Love

    Hello Julia
I did thanks, and have just checked my order status – the bracelet has been despatched today and I can’t wait for it to arrive! I’m already planning when and what to wear with it as am going for a curry with my friend next week and can’t wait to see her face when she’s dazzled by it glittering! I was so pleased the other night to have a text read out on your Diamonique show with Dale – I forgot to state where I was texting from (Staffs) and so it said that it was from Caroline in London – yes that was me commenting on your classy outfits that got an ooh from Dale lol

    Hi Julia,
I did dazzle her with my bracelet lol…she and everyone else that has seen it has loved it, and I’ve bumped into 3 people over the course of this week who are avid QVC fans – one was a Kipling and Diamonique fan, so we compared purchases, another was Kipling fan (the hygienist at my dentists who had the same bag as me but in a different colour) and the other was the post lady at the sorting office when I collected a QVC parcel – she almost made me late for work lol as we were discussing our favourite products! She was waiting for a Ronni Nicole dress to arrive to wear for a party – I almost offered her my bracelet to wear with it but she has some Butler and Wilson lined up ready to go! My purple velvet Kipling bag has never been stroked so much, and I even had a man at work admiring my Gossip watch! Will send another text in next time I see you on as I really enjoyed having the last one read out.
    Lots of love

    Hi Caroline
If you are in this afternoon I am on between 4 and 6p.m. ( Gossip watches and Kim and Co ) or next outing is midnight Sunday into Monday with the cosy Emu slippers.
It’s amazing how many people watch QVC these days – we have some great brands don’t we.

    Hello Julia,
I only managed to catch a glimps of the Gossip Watches show and enjoyed what I saw, so am going to look out for the Emu show tonight! I have 2 pairs of Emu boots, dark brown with toggles up the side and a Stinger Hi pair in sand. I also have the toepost slippers in a beautiful light sand colour – they feel absolutely gorgeous on so I normally save them to wear after a home spa session when I light Yankee Candles and soak in Elemis’s gorgeous bath milk. Liz Earle also makes an appearance, then i wrap myself in my fabulous Elemis white snuggly bathrobe and paint my toenails with either OPI or Leighton Denny. QVC have some fantastic brands, and the post lady I was talking to last week said ‘QVC is like have a large department store in your own home’ That struck me as being very true, because where we live in the countryside you have to travel a long way to such stores Debenhams or Harvey Nicks, and they don’t offer a 30 day money back guarantee! Enjoy your weekend, and have a great show tonight!
    Love
    Caroline xx
