My five-minute dessert recipe

Charlie's five-minute Eton Mess Hello!

It's been a great week at QVC with our wonderful RHS Chelsea Flower Show garden winning a silver medal!

Last week I promised you a recipe for a five-minute pudding, but in fact it will probably take less than that.  We had some good friends around for dinner and they brought the ingredients for an Eton Mess… the word delicious doesn't even come close to how good this tastes!

As you can see from the photo (above), it lives up to its name and looks a real mess!

You'll need…

Punnet of strawberries, chopped
Punnet of blueberries
Couple of Crunchie bars, broken up into little pieces
3 – 4 meringue nests, broken up into small pieces

Now all you do is mix all of this in with a tub of whipped double cream and enjoy! It's really, really good!

If you have an equally quick and delicious recipe I'd love to hear from you.

Take care and see you soon,

Hey Charlie! When is your 10th anniversary show? Have been looking out for it and don’t want to miss it.

    Hi Charlie,
When I was younger my late father used to make his Pineapple Quickie, it will take a little longer than the Eton Mess but is tasty. all you need is a tin of Pineapple Chunks, the grated rind and juice of an orange, cinammon to taste and a knob of butter.
Put all the ingredients into a pan and warm gently, thicken the juice then serve with cream or ice cream. Hope you enjoy it as much as we did, Angela
