When QVC asked me to compile a list of my 20 favourite products it was extremely hard to do!
I had masses and masses of favourites to narrow down to just 20 but I've finally done it so here they are, but not in any particular order.
Cleanse and Polish (left)- a pleasure to use, so effective, quick and easy. Leaves my skin feeling soft and refreshed.
Elemis pro collagen marine cream (right)- another award winning British born brand! I love this moisturiser. I have quite an oily skin and this gel like texture goes on like silk. I really like the fact you can use it over the eye area. I'm crazy about the smell of it, too. Just beautiful.
Seche Vite top coat – as a qualified nail technician I appreciate the nail ranges we are so fortunate enough to have at QVC. Award winning Seche Vite allows nails to dry super fast and the gloss is like no other! Very glass like and wet looking even when dry.
Ingenue London dresses – this range, I feel, could have been made for me! Lots of arm coverage and tummy hiding tailoring whilst bringing out the beauty of feminine curves and retaining a very stylish mix of prints and colours. They offer stretch, too, which helps if you're like me and fluctuate between dress sizes. I'd say 90% of my wardrobe is Ingenue London! Probably more than that if I'm honest. 109016 shown
Lulu Guinness accessories – what is not to love about this bastion of British fashion? Striking designs that allow you to reflect your personality in your style yet without being stuck in a trend trap. I find this means you can make an investment that won't go out of fashion, style that lasts for years and years – 106555 shown.
Spanx – I adore my spanx. They've become the household name for shapewear. When I say spanx I don't only mean the brand itself but also our other shapewear names such as Slim and Lift and Skweez Couture. I have a whole drawer full of them and wear them almost every day to make the most of the clothes I invest in.
New CID bronzer – I adore this make up range but, in particular, I must sing the praises of their bronzer. It contains lots of different pigments and no glitter so is a real sculpting tool in the make up kit. I'm an absolute make up junkie so it was very hard to choose just one!
cook's essentials pans – once I tried our own brand of cookware I never looked back. All my old pans were banished to the dump and I've added to my collection greatly. The quality is exceptional. I've converted many friends with my evangelical praise.
Kitchenaid Classic Mixer – I never thought I'd have the need for something like this but now I use it regularly and have even bought attachments, such as a citrus juicer, for it. Mashed potatoes come out so creamy when using it, too. Mmmm, making myself hungry now…
Bose sound system – this has been such an impressive bit of kit! It's discreet so doesn't stand out against my minimal decor but has the most incredible sound. I especially love it at Christmas and New Year for blasting out those festive tunes.
Apple iPad – this is virtually an extra right arm for me now! I can't imagine being without it. I use it for my emails, twitter, catching up on Eastenders, storing and taking photos and videos and so much more.
Emoji Mermaid wet and dry epilator – I am now such a fan of epilation to remove hair that I regularly use this for my bikini line and underarms. It means I mo longer have stubble rash in these areas but super soft, smooth and hair free skin by using this fab device in the bath and shower.
OPI Nail Envy – when I first joined QVC ten years ago I had paper thin nails which never grew so I wore acrylic nail extensions. Then I tried various nail strengtheners until I found the perfect one for me. Nail Envy. I often get compliments now and had never imagined my nails could grow so long and healthy. Definitely a desert island beauty product.
Leighton Denny Crystal Nail File – this multi award winning file is just the most fantastic file I've ever used. I've had the same one for over five years and only bought another because I wanted the special Union Jack edition! How's that for great value?
Easiyo yogurt maker – how brilliant it is to have freshly made yogurt at home whenever we want it! Sooo healthy but also extremely tasty. I use it in cooking and even make cream cheese with it. Fresh and full of goodness.
Pilates reformer pro X556 – after recently upsetting my knees with a hardcore, high impact workout I decided to invest in the top of the range Pilates machine as it suits all ages & abilities and I really enjoy doing it. I've decided now I'm over 40 I want to really look after myself. It's a great machine.
Daniel Sandler Billion Dollar Body Shimmer – wow..this is such a beautiful, multiperforming gem of a product. I use it all over. Along the shins for a lovely healthy glow, on the arms for slenderising and along the collarbones and décolleté during my jewellery hours for added twinkle and sparkle.
Dyson Animal Handheld Vac – another product which was quite an investment but worth every penny. I've learned to shop a lot smarter than I used to. Now I've realised if you buy quality you get your money's worth rather than simply looking for the lowest possible price. I use this almost every single day and wouldn't want to be without it.
Laura Geller Baked blush – included in the 5 Piece The Magic of Colour– this is simply gorgeous. The dewiest, prettiest pink and a highlighter which really brings out the cheekbones. Gotta love Laura!
bareMinerals Ready foundation and brush - love, love, love these two products. The brush allows for fabulous application and the foundation itself offers a beautiful flawless finish to the skin, like velvet. Outstanding.
So, there's just 20 but I could've listed hundreds more. Seriously! Benefit cosmetics, Tiana B dresses, Marta Johnsson shoes…ah, the list is endless!
Here's to 20 more wonderful years of QVC and tens of thousands more products to fall in love with.
Love Catherine x
