I absolutely love Christmas and the whole lead up to it. There are certain things that really get me in the festive spirit and Christmassy smells are definitely one of those. The gorgeous smells in the Price's Candles Today's Special Value make me wish it was Christmas Day already!
Smells that make me think of Christmas
A really warm cosy smell sums up Christmas for me. Like a crackling log fire possibly with a little spice added to it. My favourite classic Christmas fragrance would be cinnamon and orange.
This Price's Candles set is amazing value. You could split the collection up and have five brilliant gifts, each with its own little snuffer and beautifully presented in an organza bag.
They're ideal as gifts for teachers or treats for friends as you go visiting over the run up to Christmas. At the price you can't go wrong, and they smell divine too.
The Figgy Pudding smells very inviting and the Chocolate Log smells very decadent and not a calorie in sight!
And if they are good enough for the Queen they are good enough for us!
Creating a festive atmosphere in my home
I love decorating the house for Christmas. I've kept all the decorations my children have made over the years and they always go up over Christmas.
I love my lights (I have musical ones too) and all the cards go up on ribbons over the doors and I snow the windows too and put lights in the trees outside.
My Christmas tree
I do have a fake tree because I'll do anything for an easy life, and finding pine needles in the carpet in March is not for me.
My tree is very realistic and although it's about 7 feet tall it's super slim so fits in the lounge nicely without taking up too much room. It's always decorated in royal blue and gold to co-ordinate with my lounge furniture, how sad is that?!
What kind of things sum up Christmas for you?
