Maxine, Pam, Yvonne, Fiona, Pauline, Marey and David, Rosie, Maxine, Sam and Sue….Hello to you all!!
I'm sorry for the mass reply, but I'm trying to get started on the QVC Diet Chef forum and cook tea for my two sons at the same time (I've just eaten the DC chick pea and apricot tagine with leeks, cauliflower and sugar snap peas mixed in – like the good girl I try to be!).
Thanks for your encouragement
I want to thank you all for your kind words and encouragement, and it will take me hours to write to you all individually. I thought you may not find this if I put it at the bottom of all your postings, so here I am!
I'm so pleased that many of you have signed up to Diet Chef – having had a holiday and a bit of a break, I started again on Monday – so far, so good!
How to find the Diet Chef forum
Several of you mentioned that you were having trouble getting on to the forum. I tried last week and couldn't even find it! Tried a bit harder yesterday evening, and found that if you click on 'Brand' under the heading 'Shop by…' you come to an alphabetic list of all QVC brands. Click on Diet Chef and you are taken to the 'brand page' for Diet Chef with loads of useful and interesting information, and a big green question mark which will lead you to the forum.
You need to register to ensure that no spoilers get involved, and then you're away.
Pauline, if you haven't managed to join yet, try emailing firstname.lastname@example.org and they should be able to help.
Keeping you up to date with my progress
I wish you all the best of luck – I'll be posting on my blog to keep you up to date with how I'm doing, and I'd love to hear your stories too.
I'll also take part in the forum when I can. All this time in front of a computer sends me a bit stir crazy, but I find it really inspiring to hear other people's success stories, so I hope I can help some of you too.
Just reading the customer reviews for Diet Chef on the QVC website inspires me as so many of you have found this works for you and you're really committed to sticking with it.
So I will pop into the forum whenever I can, and check my blog for postings as often as I can too. Thanks for getting involved, and here's to the best of luck for our future slimmer selves!
P.S. Wednesday lunchtime. Just presented an hour of cook's essentials with Malcolm Harradine and couldn't resist polishing off the shank of lamb he'd prepared in our quick cooker – it was delicious. I drew the line at the treacle pud, though (well, I only had one mouthful!). But the good thing about Diet Chef is that it works for me even though I'm human.
