My Dena Designs TSV cards

Catherine crafting I was lucky enough to get my hands on Tuesday's (2nd June) Today's Special Value craft kit to play with. It's a brand new designer craft brand called 'Dena Designs' and it is sooo girly, cute, gorgeous, and creative. Can you tell it appeals to me?

Large, mini and concertina cards It's a bumper card-making kit with all sorts of goodies inside. I made two larger cards and then two mini sized ones (see right). Aren't they sweet?

The other cards you can see in this picture (the concertina'd ones on each end) come as you see them so some elements are virtually ready-made but lovely cardstocks, papers and embellishments included in the collection mean that you can be as creative as you like!

Card creations Dinky, the cat, tried to help with the cardmaking but felt another good use for the kit was a cat bed and he plonked himself down right on top of it all. Cheeky little thing, so cute though. He's still snoozing away as I type.

I hope you'll join me for crafting fun at 12 noon on Tuesday 2nd June as well as tuning in earlier in the day at midnight to see this gorgeous card-making TSV.

Love Catherine x

Catherine those are lovely cards. I got a Dena Design kit from QVC few weeks ago and loved it. So I think this TSV will be a winner, my credit card is hiding behind the sofas, already! Ah ! LOL
Nice to know you’ve got a pile of stash building up in that corner of the room ! Hugz XXX Fab

I will be watching at 12 but I will be looking through my fingers as i love what I have seen of the kits but have no money to buy it at the moment…..shame, it’s cos I now buy too much nail polish. I watched the show yesterday and agree that Nail Envy is the best!
I too am very precious about my nails….I am a card designer for magazines and I find it hard to craft without ruining my nails! LOL!
Sometimes I just have to make a choice….work or nails and invariably at the moment nails win!

    Hi Catherine,
I have ordered this T. S . V . also. I love making cards .This kit looks great. I also make and furnish doll’s houses and I find that alot of the card making embelishments come in very handy when I am decorating my doll’s houses and the furniture that I put in them. I have just used some paper from a Q. V. C. kit to wallpaper a changing room in one twelth scale for a dolls house shop. It looks lovely . Love Jill xx

I thought the craft “day” on Tuesday 2nd June – was great some lovely new things and ideas and I didn’t miss any of it. The TSV although looked very nice wasn’t my taste but that didn;t matter as we can’t all like the same things. Looking forward to the sissix presentation on Tuesday too.

    Hi Nikki,
Did you manage to resist the TSV, I wonder? Nice to hear from a fellow Nail Envy fan. I wouldn’t be without it now.
Which magazines do you design for? I’d love to see your work.
    Love Catherine x

    Hi Jill,
So pleased you like the TSV, too. I love the idea of decorating dolls houses, how fabulous!
As a child I loved my dolls so much. I had masses of Barbies and baby dolls. I used to make furniture for my Barbie dolls out of shoe boxes. I used those sealable sandwich bags to create waterbeds and flannels for blankets.
Really nice to hear from you,
    Love Catherine x

    Hi Sally,
Thanks for your comments. Really good to hear you enjoyed our craft TSV day. We have had some great new things recently, I agree.
I didn’t even know the Sissix was going to be on tomorrow so, on behalf of other fellow crafters, thanks for the tip off! I’ll watch from my dressing room.

    Dear Joyce,
Thanks for your lovely message. Happy birthday to Guinness the cat, too!
Sounds like you are one very busy lady! We used to have a lovely lollipop man near us but they’ve put traffic lights and a crossing there and he’s gone. I was so sad when I realised! I always wanted to give him a card to say I thought he always appeared jolly & kind.
I hope all the people you help love you just as much, I’m sure they do.
    Lots of love Catherine x

    Hi there Denise,
Nice of you to write again… sometimes it takes a while before I have time to reply to people so it’s easy for people to miss my replies to them. I always hope everyone gets to see I reply to them and read every single comment left for me.
Well done on your race for life! I have mine at the end of this month, as you know.
You sound incredibly busy juggling triplets, work and running for charity! I hope you sometimes get a little you time.
My recommendation is a nice hot bath with some Elemis Frangipani bath cream followed by the body oil. Bliss!
    Love Catherine x

    Hi Catherine
I have enjoyed using the Dena Designs so much I would love to be able to get hold of some more blank cardstock – I have looked on the internet but to no avail. Is there any chance that QVC might have another Dena Design kit ?
PS Glad you enjoyed your kit too!
