Hopefully by now you will all have heard of the pioneering haircare range WEN! If not, where have you been hiding?! This phenomenal brand has been causing a furore all over the world and is no doubt our biggest beauty launch of this year.
Two of my beauty panellists were given the chance to try out the WEN products and here are their reviews…

A great new approach to haircare which left my hair thicker and more voluminous and just a little more 'film star'. But there were confusing and conflicting instructions and I was disappointed that I went through the whole 350ml of this product in just two weeks. This reluctantly makes it for me an expensive 'treat' rather than the hair cleanser of choice.
BEFORE – Using Wen requires dismissing all that you're used to doing when it comes to your hair: when you're conditioned – pardon the pun – to using around a 50 pence piece of shampoo, rinsing and repeating, using around 12 measured pumps for each wash feels like a shocking amount of product. But it does, without question make your hair feel wonderful when you rinse it off – the hair shafts feel much smoother.
I have fine hair but lots of it and it is shoulder-length – a few spritzes of the volumising spray before drying means my hair did look thick and lustrous after styling and it kept its fullness for most of the day, even during the hot summer we've had.
AFTER – My other half commented that my hair looked blonder – and I can only think this is because of the removal of previous product 'residue' that would have dulled my hair colour. It has definitely looked more shiny and just a little more 'film star'.
The usage instructions are conflicting – on the bottle it says to use 10-15 pumps and only use once. The instructions in the box suggest anywhere from 12 pumps for short hair to 32 pumps for very long hair, but divided into two washes each time. The instructions also encourage you to use the maximum, claiming the more you use the better the results.
This has meant that, with shoulder-length hair that needs washing every other day, I have sadly finished the bottle in just two weeks. Would have loved to continue using this product but not sure I can justify buying this on a regular basis.
All the best

It has taken three weeks for me to get used to the WEN haircare range but since using it my hair is soft, shiny, manageable and in excellent condition. However, it is a culture change and my advice to viewers would be to take the opportunity of the money back guarantee to try this no sulphate shampoo and stick with it for the full 30 days. For me it took a bit of time to get used to but the results did come.
I can think of seven high-end haircare ranges at QVC and I have favourites in most them. However, WEN is like nothing I have ever tried before. I am 62 years old with very long hair and I would like to preserve it for as long as I can.
The Hair Cleanser
This is a cleanser not a shampoo. We have all taken a pump of conditioner in the shower thinking it was the shampoo and started washing our hair with it and this is how WEN cleanser feels. It took 3 washes to get used to the non-lathering effect but the results are surprising. The hair is left shiny and clean with no residue and plenty of body.
The styling products
Condition is not an issue with my hair, but volume is. The styling products work really well. I use both the styling cream and the volume spritz on towel dry hair and style as usual. My hair has a slight natural wave which I smooth out with a smoothing iron and although the hair is left baby soft it still has plenty of volume. I only wash my hair every two days and the style stays in well. Again, I had to get used to the texture of the styling cream which is more like a gel.
Intensive Hair Treatment
I don't usually get on with hair masks because my hair is in good condition and does not absorb conditioning masks. They tend to sit on the hair shaft and make my hair lank. Again I have to use that word 'surprise' because WEN hair mask did not make my hair lank – although I prefer to use just the cleanser without it.
