Moving house = Mayhem!

Apologies for not blogging last week, I must have lost a week somewhere.

I am in the middle of moving house and therefore in the middle of what I can only describe as mayhem! I think I must have packed my marbles!

I've only ever moved once before and that was before marriage and children, this is a whole different ball game. I just didn't realise just how much stuff we had accumilated over the last 15 years and I'm not the greatest at chucking stuff out. I'm one of these "that might come in handy one day" people - I drive my husband mad!

Anyway on the X Factor front I couldn't be more delighted with the final three. They all seem like such nice people, I really wouldn't mind any of them winning it although my favorite is still Joe, who I think definitely has that little sparkle!

If the rumors are true and the winning song is The Climb, it's a great song – my little girl has it on her Hannah Montanna CD.

Well I'm off to pack some more boxes, don't forget to let me know who's getting your final X Factor vote.

Take care,

Jilly xx

Hi Jilly..Oh my goodness, moving and Christmas so near too! Only moved once? lucky are you,I think I’ve moved 12 times in my few 43 years.I used to keep things like you but I think in the end I have lost or thrown out stuff each I try to be more practical now.
    Still,with kiddies I am sure it’s different!
With regard to xfactor,I have changed along the way and the last couple of weeks I have to agree Joe has a cracking voice and is a nice guy with it.
Good luck with you’re mayhem and have a lovely xmas x

    Hi Jilly,
Like the previous correspondent I hope you are settled in to your new home in time to celebrate Christmas! As mentioned in previous responses to your blogs I am giving my vote to Joe. He has been the most consistent of all the acts this year and has not put a foot wrong at all. Just when you think he can’t get any better, he delivers another two stunning performances in the semi-finals, particulary with the second performance which was the Journey song. Louis got it right when he said Joe could have a number one record with it if he recorded it. Anyway I am looking forward to hearing your thoughts next week in your blog about the X Factor Final…..And here’s hoping it is Joe that we are celebrating as the winner!!

Hello Jilly, make sure you know which box has the kettle, mugs/cups and saucers, tea, coffee, sugar, milk, teapot, coffee pot, teaspoons etc in. Label this one very well so that it doesn’t get hidden as you will need it. And make yourselves a ‘sanctuary’ so that if it gets too much you can go there and rest a little.
Hope it all gets sorted out for Christmas and that you are all happy in your new home.

    Hi Jilly
Boxes are everywhere and it is chaos, we will make it work though.
