Whether it’s gelato hues or mermaid magic, there’s loads of colour going on this season and heading into 2018. Not only that, the metallics have gone stratospheric so couple all that together and where do you go?
Well it’s nails of course!! Nail colours are a fabulous way to dip in and out of trends and I think you’re going to love the Nails Inc Today’s Special Value coming up at the end of November (29th!) If you follow me on Instagram (@PipaGordon), you will know that Beely and I had a metallic morning last Saturday before going off to the cinema. I went for the pink/purple and she went for the mermaid style blue and then off we trotted to see Paddington 2 …that was TWO trips to the cinema for me last week as Brian and I also went to see Murder on the Orient Express on date night. Spoilt I was!
I thought I had seen the original Murder on the Orient Express but as the story unfolded, I realised I hadn’t and therefore had no idea of what was I store for me when it came to “who dunnit”. Don’t worry, I shall reveal nothing, all I can say is I sat there heavy hearted and cried… not what I was expecting to feel at the end of an Agatha Christie!! I have to say however, my experience of Paddington 2 was utterly delightful, mind you, I cried at the end of that too… my poor children, they can’t take me anywhere!
Last night am pleased to report, I remained dry eyed! We went to the switching on of our Christmas lights in Stratford upon Avon and I went for gold nails (aim for the stars right? It is after all called “Call Me Superstar”) I have to say it I the easiest gold I’ve ever painted on and super fast drying too which makes the Nails Inc TSV perfect for the party season!
So lights are on in town which means let the Christmas music begin (Michael Buble is back!!)! (mind you, not quite my first carols as I was practising some on the piano earlier this week) and with less than a month to go, it’s time to bring out the bling and enjoy all that sparkles!
Is it too early to say merry Christmas??
…Yes, I think I’ll save that one for a bit later.
