Mighty brights: primary colours

0

It’s that time of year when we’re waking up from hibernation and actually starting to get excited about heading outdoors again. Barbeques, picnics and holidays are all on the horizon so we’re breaking out of our monochrome habits and going primary with our colours.

Red

The Style List mighty brights

We’ve never met a shade of red we didn’t like. This Kipling tote bag is tote-ally practical as well as a gorgeous addition to any style of outfit. Nothing sets you up for an evening out like co-ordinating lips and nails, we adore Jay Manuel’s Iconic lip trio paired with your shade of choice from this Nails Inc collection. If you’re a fan of the matchy-matchy look – ladylike chic is back after all – why not pair this beautiful Helene Berman coat with these Ravel heels. These two with a little black dress is sartorial perfection with minimal effort.

Yellow

You can’t help but feel cheerful when you add a splash of yellow to your day. Function and style combine with this Alcatel tablet, allowing you to check emails or watch movies on-the-go while also adding that summery pop. Wake up in the morning with your first tea or coffee in this adorable mug from Amanda Holden’s BundleBerry range. While we mostly love Decleor’s skincare for its skin-loving formulations, its signature yellow packaging also livens up our bathroom cupboards and we must admit to quite enjoying that. You’ll certainly be enjoying how this Summer Ready collection will have your skin glowing in no time. The Radley tote bag will look particularly stunning over a white or grey outfit. And of course yellow gold never goes out of style, check out the vibrancy of this Links of London necklace.

Blue

Take us to the nearest beach for a swim in the sea! These travel wet bags with a very cute nautical stripe pattern will certainly come in handy if you do get to take a trip to the seaside this summer. If you’re more about taking these sea-blue tones into your look, try this elegant Kim & Co navy jumpsuit paired with the Emu sandals – the perfect duo for a summer wedding. Accessorise your casual jeans and T-shirt type outfits with this Pia Rossini Flynn scarf. If you’re trying to bring some accents of blue into your home, you can’t go wrong with this fab BundleBerry table.

We hope we’ve brought out the brights-lover in all of you with our colourful selection. Do you have your eye on any piece in particular? Let us know in the comments below.
