Merry Christmas and a confession… sorry!

QVC Christmas card

Hello!

I hope you're having a wonderful time of festivities!

I thought I'd share our Christmas card with you that we photographed during our Christmas shoot a few months ago.

Lasts week’s guess the picture was the wick from a Yankee candle. Well done if you got it. Guess the picture will return soon :-)

This Christmas I'm amazed to say it’s been my best prepared ever! Presents wrapped on time, gifts bought in advance… well most of them anyway! I did nip to the town centre to pick up a few last treats for my children and it was chaos! Parking a nightmare, queues a nightmare and sooooo many people everywhere! I bought plenty from QVC which made life so much easier. In fact I bought Mum’s gift (a gorgeous Diamonique elephant pendant) months ago.

Being better prepared gave me some spare time to master the perfect roast potato for our festive lunch! You know I love my food. I’ve also stocked up on mince pies. I'm the only one in our house who likes them. I'm not complaining!

We've chosen to stay at home this Christmas and New Year. Partly because we daren't trust our two dogs with decorations and Christmas trees! They have a real obsession with tinsel at the moment. We are keeping a very close watch on them!

Ok, moving on. I do have a confession to make (not quite in the league of the confession you'll hear on Simon Mayo’s radio 2 show… I love that part of the programme) but a confession, none the less, a confession of dance! If you can call it that!

I've always vowed I will never ever dance! Well you're about to see why! Renee who brings a gorgeous range of fashion to QVC always teases me about getting me to dance as she often finishes the show with a little shimmy and shake with the models!

Well, Renee has been saying for months, if not years, she'll make me dance at the end of her show one day! Well, I broke my vow, crushed under pressure and conceded! Sorry ;-(

I'll leave you with this video clip… don't be too harsh on me please :-)

    Hi Charlie,
Your video of you dancing is just great, really makes you laugh and cheers you up. You were very brave to dance on air, not bad Charlie not bad. I willl give you an eight for being so brave.
Glad you have done all your shoopping, I did all mine on QVC again this year, just a few odd things needed in town, but as you say what a nightmare, finding somewhere to park, and shop’s full of people, I am afraid I am a person who has no patience, I like to be able to shop without having to queue, went to the Post Office the other day, they were queuing out of the door, no that was not for me, I came on home.
Do have a lovely Christmas Charlie and your family and Misty and Bramble, I am sure they will love all the Christmas paper, my Collie does, the floor is covered by the time he has finished. A Very Happy New Year to you, and keep on practicing those dance steps ready for the TV dancing show, or maybe you could audition for dancing on Ice, now that would be fun.
    Take care.
    Love Jean X
