Fabulous news! Guess what the new puppy is called? Watch this video – please be warned – cute overload! #puppyalert!
Had a super trip up to Medical Detection Dogs this week, where I was due to see the latest trainee puppy – a little girl who is half golden retriever, and whom I was allowed to name following my considerable fundraising efforts last year. I invited mum, and as you’ll see in the video, she was chuffed to bits to be the reason why little Lesley pup has been given another unusual doggy name! If you love puppy vids, you should see little Dyson pup playing around with Lesley pup – just 8 weeks old. Here is Lesley next to one of the trained ‘partner’ dogs – she looks like a toy!
Go to my website newsletter here to see more puppy videos, where I posted the updates this week.
You’ll also see Roland the broken puppy’s latest x-ray pic – it’s incredible! And find out what I did on Monday that I haven’t done for three years… it’s all here.
(NB click yes to the newsletter if you’d like the email updates sent to you, if not, just close the window that pops up. BUT I’ll be doing some fab competitions in the next few weeks on my Facebook page and if you’re not on Facebook, this is a good way to see some of them so do feel free. See below also.)
Oper-a – shuns
Also went to see another opera – someone told me that the ‘surtitles (the words that appear above the stage) are for karaoke so you can sing along – is that right? Hehe. *Joking.* They’re really there, in case you didn’t know, to translate the foreign lyrics so you can follow the plot. Which I did. Just. Lovely voices and super staging – a true spectacle – it was La Traviata at the Royal Opera House. We were closer to God(s) than ever before! Lol. And all because brother Glenn forgot he’d booked the tickets two weeks ago so my pals Sara and Jan came along instead!
I really enjoyed this opera – more than any other I’ve seen, I think, and that’s not many. I had a super time with the girls, who helped me raise lots of money in the Christmas MDD raffle!
Patrick Easter Quiz – talking of fundraising, lovely Patrick from Quacker Factory will be doing another fun ‘open to all’ virtual pub quiz via his usual public Facebook event, just after Easter, watch this space!
Like my Facebook Page – updates alert and all-change!
Big announcement! I’m going to be featuring a lot more competitions on my own Facebook page (a public page available to everyone who is welcome and which can easily be shared) and would love it if you would ‘like’ the page in preparation for the upcoming events there.
Go here and ‘like’ my Facebook page – NB you can still read it even if you’re not on Facebook.
Plus within the next week it will feature my Freedom Eating One Month Programme, kicking off after Easter and offering a step by step beginner’s guide to the system in my ‘Till the Fat Lady Slims’ book series. Find out more here meanwhile, and do get books 2.0 and 3.0 – paperback or e-book – in preparation. (profits of latter in aid of MDD).
Must get book done!
This is going to be a big year for my writing, and considering the amount of time I’m devoting to my charity Medical Detection Dogs, I’ve decided, after consultation with QVC and with Sharon my lovely pal who runs the Back to You QVC group on Facebook, to stop spreading myself too thin, to make life a bit easier for myself and to just focus on doing my key QVC updates on my own Facebook page (which automatically updates my Twitter.) Please ‘like’ the page and share them wherever you like! The more the better. Read the rest of the announcement here on my official Facebook page.
Not on Facebook? How about an email?
The other way is to subscribe to my newsletter – I will summarise all the important topics from each week as I’m very aware that about half the people I spoke to at this year’s Beauty Bash said they don’t often go on social media so the email newsletters are just for you guys!
