Firstly a happy belated Mother’s Day to all the mums there. I personally think every day should be Mother’s Day for all the multi tasking we do. I had a lovely day, albeit a busy one! My daughter was performing in a dancing competition so after a late night at QVC I left at seven in the morning to get to the competition.
Cassidy won two bronze medals for her solo sections which was fantastic, I was so proud as she now qualifies for the All England semi-finals. It really made my Mother’s Day very special. Unfortunately the day ran very late and my poor husband and son were left waiting for us in Pizza Express for an hour looking like they had been severely stood up!
Meanwhile QVC has been as busy as ever. I loved the 19th anniversary Liz Earle shows. It was great to see some of the old footage and just how young we used to look! There are lots of exciting things happening too as March draws to a close.
One of the TSVs to definitely look out for is the Dyson DC75 Animal Cinetic upright vacuum. Wow! It’s the most powerful cleaner I have ever trialed and is a solid built construction that is really easy to manoeuvre, it’s just hungry to clean and never ever loses suction. I’ve been bowled over by its performance and after 21 years of testing vacuum cleaners it takes a lot to impress me.
Also don’t miss tarte cosmetics at 8pm on Thursday night. The gorgeous Leigh is flying over from the States especially for the show and we have some amazing goodies for you. tarte is a cosmetic range based on pure natural ingredients that don’t compromise on performance so you get fantastic make-up, made with goodness that actually has staying power, which I think is a real breakthrough. Their saying is ‘Be green, be smart, be tarte!’
So I guess I’ll see you at showtime!
Have a good week,
