Mally’s make-up secrets!

Mally Roncal
Through the years of working with celebrity clients and now bringing all of the tips and tricks I have learned to you, I've realised that empowering and educating woman to feel their most beautiful is what I was born to do!

I also found that there are certain products I use day in, day out on my clients and would encourage all of you to include in your beauty routine. First and foremost, prepping your skin with a primer will make a huge impact on how your make-up not only looks, but feels too.

Primer

Mally Perfect Prep Poreless Primer Helping to fill in fine lines and wrinkles and creating a silky smooth finish will allow your make-up to glide on effortlessly. My skin feels like satin after applying my primer and I don’t go a day without it! I even use it over my moisturiser at night to lock in the moisturising properties and make sure it's not wearing off on my pillow!

Mascara

Mally Volumizing Mascara Duo I have never been one to shy away from fierce eyes and I have created the ultimate mascara that will take your lashes to the next level! There isn't a client I didn't use my lash-building technique on and it took upwards of two hours for the lashes to be plump and perfect. I packaged it all in pretty bottle and let me just say my Volumising Mascara is the only item I would need on a desert island…well, that and my SPF!

Concealer

Mally Cancellation Concealer System Concealer can be really tricky. It's hard to match skin tone and even more difficult to find a long-wearing option that you don't have to think about reapplying. When I first started Mally Beauty I made sure that a concealer was one of the first products we created.

I really am proud to say that with Cancellation Concealer, four universal shades were born. Divided among Fair, Light/Medium, Tan and Rich I've really covered all varieties of skin tone. What makes this concealer so effective is the setting powder. You can run, swim, dance and play in this concealer because it's not going anywhere! It's truly a must-have if you don't want to think about your make-up 50 times a day!

Some helpful techniques

  • To lighten up the darker circles under your eyes make sure you use a highlighter in the inner corner of the eye. This area sometimes gets overlooked but it can make a huge impact on brightening your eyes and removing shadows
  • For fuller lips apply a highlighting lip gloss in the middle of the bottom and top lip, then gently pat your lips together for a full and gorgeous mouth!
  • To pick your right colour foundation or concealer, make sure to test the shade on your face. The best place to test is where the jaw bone meets the side of face. Testing foundation or concealer on your hand won’t give you the truest match because the colouring in your face is quite different
  • For a really fierce eye look, line the upper inner rim of your eyes with a black liner. This trick really helps to make the whites of your eyes look whiter and the colour of your eyes pop! Most people neglect lining the upper inner rim but it’s a trick that really looks amazing!

hi, ive recently seen qvc mally beauty shows and as a beauty therapist and a big make-up girl mallys products seem amazing almost too good to be true!
Ive recently found out im expecting a baby so at the minute money is abit tight although i would really like to try mally cosmetics i plann to purchase these as soon as possible and i thought the best way to put mallys ”bulletproof” products to the ultimate test would be to see how long my mally make-up last during labour!!
im tierd of seeing awful pictures of women after giving birth and although i realise its a hard task to perform i refuse to let that women be me on this wonderful day!
Thanks for all your wonderful shows! and thank you mally for your amazing products that i am soooo desperate to try!

Dear Mally, I do enjoy watching your shows, but quite often I feel left out since you do not offer deep shades of concealers and foundations. The last TSV was fab, but alas, I could not order because I am a darker shade than the ‘rich’ shade that you offer. Could you pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeee consider offfering deeper shades of foundations and concealers. Thanks, Jean

Hi Mally, I brought your Taupe eyelift earlier this year and it really does make my eyes look less ‘droopy’! Last night and today I have gone a bit mad and bought most of your products, although sadly I’m wait listed for your primer, but hopefully it will come into stock soon. I always love your shows as you are so bright, funny, glamorous and an amazing example of a working Mum who always makes me smile after a hard day at work. My only plee is that you spend some more time showing us how you create your amazing eyeliner and eye shadow techniques (Alison Young looked like a model last night and I want to look like that too!). Thanks for working so hard to bring your products to the UK so that we can look glamorous too!

    Hi Mally,
I’ve only recently “discovered” your make-up and absolutely love the Perfect Prep Poreless Primer. I have quite sensitive skin and so rarely wear make-up but your primer is something I can safely put on every day. Could you please include a cream foundation in your QVC range. Thanks
    Carolyn

    Hi Mally
I have not tried any of your products yet but saw you on QVC the other evening and liked the sound of the concealer, just to explain why i am emailing the problem is I have brown pigmentation marks on my face and neck these darken in the summer even with high factor cream. I would like to know whether you feel the concealer could hide or minimise these marks without leaving make up on clothes as I tend to put some on my neck as well. I have tried sheer cover which did not work and it came off on clothes even though it shouldn’t have done as advertised, I have also tried camouflage makeup but this was too heavy.
Any recommendations you can make are greatly appreciated.
    Thanks very much.

    Hi Mally,
I love your make-up range, but need some expert advice. I have very large pores around my cheeks and nose and have not yet found anything that helps to minimise them, especially when it comes to make-up. Can you advise me what I should do to help give the effect of a flawless complexion?
    I hope you can help.
    Many thanks, Samia

Mally I love your range and presentation style, you have your viewers locked on locked in,it’s great. Please consider the beautiful darker shades of beauties out there!!!! I have purchased some of the Mally collection but unable to use all the products in the beautiful make-up bag for example your “liquid lipstick your must have pink” is a lovely texture but I have to mix it with another deeper colour in order to make use of it. Maybe in your make-up bag there is an option before purchasing: either a light shade or deep shade of lipstick without having to buy the deeper or lighter shade seperately, this also would apply to your concealers and foundations…But I do love your range no joke bullet proof!!!!

Mally I looooove your eyeliner, lipshine, eyshadows, blusher, brow gel and of course the mascara. Everytime you are over I order more. I just ordered the,” Try me pack yesterday.” I cannot wait till it arrives.
All my friends tell me I look well and I go it’s because,” Im a fierce Mallynista Mama!” I’m converting them all and my husband does not complain when I order your products because I use your tips and he always comments how pretty I look. I was 40 this year and we started dating at 18, we have been married 19 years this year!

    Hello Mally,
recently i purchased 24/7 professional blush. Texture is fantastic (as rest of your make up) please help me with color. I bought ‘Mauve Light’. It’s to dark for me. I like real pink on my cheeks (I adore pink blush in your ‘believable bronzer’ skin warming kit- sexy golden tan). So which color/ name I have to choose from your blush colection?
Thank you so much for the best make up

    Hi Mally
I’m in love with your volumising mascara, it really makes a statement. I have tried so many brands in the past and have been disappointed. I also have your Poreless Face defender – it does what you said it would and defends the shine.
I wanted to ask you about a lightening product under the eye area. I have seen it, in relation to women of colour (Iman, Oprah; Namomi Campbell; Janet Jackson;) it gives the appearance of a healthy glow/illumination. Do you have this within your collection and will you be adding/demonstraing it to your QVC collection. It’s never too late look the best you can be.

    Hi Mally
Are you thinking of making darker foundation for Afro Caribbean skin. At the moment the darkest you seem to have is Rich, which Alison Young has said on numerous occasions would suit someone with dark olive or mixed race skin.
Please remember that a lot of QVC’s client are of a darker shade – so it would be nice to be part of th Mally Crew

    Hi Mally (Miss Thang),
I love watching you everytime you visit QVC as you are so passionate, enthusiastic and truthful about your products. I have taken advantage of your products, including the primas, mascaras, lipgloss and eyeliners however have not been able to complete my finished look due to your Foundations not being dark enough for those of us sister who have a darker skin type than your RICH colour foundation.
Girlfriend we are missing out and we want to experience the full Mally effect. Soooo please Mally help us to feel included and glamourlicious by creating new shade for the darker hue mammas!
    Sharon xx

    Hi Mally
I have just received my first 3 products from your collection. I have brought the invisble foundation but have dark circles under my eyes and some pigment marks – do I need the concealer to put on under the foundation as I can still see these marks.
    Thanks
    Carol

Hi Mally. I love the Evercolor Shadow stick in brown. I am 50 this year and I feel it is very natural as an eyeshadow and liner combined. It is out of stock here at the moment and not on a waitlist. Are you going to discontinue it? I hope not! Thank you,
    Deborah

Hi Mally – I have simply been converted to your make-up. I’m having more fun at 45 with my make-up than 20 years ago – I especially love your eyeshadows, even my husband notices and would say – “Oh look at your Mally eyes” and that’s the biggest compliment. If you need a model I will volunteer anytime!!!. The looks you create are amazing, fresh and modern – I am looking forward to your next visit to the UK. Thanks Elaine
