Lulu joins a long list of amazing women who have taken home the award with previous winners including Margaret Thatcher and Vera Lynn!
Another worthy winner at yesterday's ceremony was charity campaigner Katie Piper (pictured with Lulu), who was the victim of a horrific acid attack in 2008, who won the Sainsbury's Woman of the Year 'You Can' Award.
Lulu's award was not only in recognition of her amazing singing (and dancing!) career but also for all the unsung charity work she does.
Baroness Helena Kennedy QC, the award's President, described Lulu as "a national icon". We couldn't agree more!
