I was wondering what I would have to look forward to on my return and was joking with Dawn on air about how I would have to have a word with my manager, when Dawn asked me if I was coming to the Stitch and Craft show in March.
Then lo and behold, when I opened my emails this morning (Barbs, my manager must have been listening) I find out I'm going to be riding shotgun for Dawn on Thursday the 17th! Catherine will be there on Saturday 18th as well.
It's a great opportunity for you to come down and meet Dawn, have photos taken with us, get autographs and try out lots of different crafty projects and learn new trends and techniques.
The plan of activities for the day will be – two live demonstrations with make and takes with Dawn each day at around 10.45am and 4pm and Q&A and autograph sessions during the day.
This annual show will be bigger than past years and there'll be three floors of papercrafting, stitching and Knitting! Dawn will be at the show every day this year, and she'll be doing two daily demonstrations and answering all your craft-related questions.
It’s also Dawn's birthday during the show (send her a card for Friday 18th March!) and they're going to throw a party for her on the Friday at 4pm! It'll be taking place at the Papercraft Live Stage. Places are limited and can only be pre-booked when purchasing a ticket before the show.
If you want to come and join in then tickets are just £10 for adults and £4 for children and you can buy them through the Stitch and Craft website or their order line – 020 8692 2299.
QVC are also running a competition to win tickets to the show! Take a look at Dawn's blog to find out how you can enter.
See you there!
