I hope all’s well with all!
Phew! February already! Can’t wait for spring! I don’t dislike winter as I really don’t mind the cold, but this wet drizzle does seem to empty my usual ‘glass half-full’ demeanour.
Spring never seems far away when I see lots of Richard Jackson Shows appearing on our schedules accompanied by a big smile from your ‘glass half-full’ man!
I’m with Richard and friends at 1pm this Saturday with a fabulously colourful summer-flowering collection complete with four Fleur de Lys planters! It’s a wonderful Today’s Special Value (TSV) from Ken Evans’ company Plants2Gardens. I’ll be returning in the garden later on at 3pm and 4pm as well.
Obviously we’ve still got some cold weather for a while, but already I notice the green shoots of crocus and snowdrops appearing in my garden, so it won’t be long before the daffodils put in an appearance too.
I was working with the lovely Alison Cork this Wednesday and was looking on my iPad for a photo of Ellie as a puppy and I found this video clip taken the day after we got her and as you can see she settled in very quickly, I just had to share – she was even cuter than I remember.

She was chocolate brown then but now her coat is almost fully matured into a dark grey slate, having gone through several shades of silver and grey (now who does that remind you of ?)
Until next time … keep that ‘spring’ in your step!
