Looking back and looking forward

Hello! How are you and how was your Christmas? I really hope you enjoyed your time whether you had a full-on big event or if you had a quieter one. Mine was really wonderful and I feel so blessed, I will tell you more later.

So, just as in my blog this time last year I would once again like to look back on my year in photos and then end by looking forward with some new ways of thinking for the new year.

A month of no sugar and no alcohol – I was really proud of myself that I made it through the whole month and here I am with my friend and former QVC colleague Justine on a lovely non-alcoholic pub lunch!

Enjoyed seeing Gabi Bradshaw in her annual charity panto with Debbie. And it was my darling niece Ruby’s 4th birthday. I love this photo of her, pure elation at the sight of the birthday candles. She’s the most wonderful little girl.

Had a few days in West Wales with my friend Darren: walks, yummy good, fresh air and also did a series of little videos for Pure Potions, inspired by the great outdoors. You can watch them here if you fancy a new natural skincare regime for 2018.

I visited Marrakech for the first time, what an amazing experience, I particularly loved the architecture and the excitement of the Medina.

A delight to meet Amanda Holden for the first time at QVC. She had been working on her BundleBerry homeware range for months and finally it was time to meet and start preparing the shows. We had some meetings with various teams at QVC then went out for a green juice by the lake in the sunshine!

My niece Ava-Rose is born, I get to be a proud uncle third time round!

A spectacular week in Greece on a yoga retreat organised by my dear friend Emma. Here we are hanging out by the infinity pool looking out onto the blue sea of the Greek Islands – amazing!

My eldest niece Jasmine comes to visit for a couple of days, love spending time with her and here we are doing a selfie on the South Bank of the River Thames just by the Globe Theatre.

I also visit North Yorkshire where the highlight is a visit to Whitby, what a wonderful place!

I turn another year older – 45 here we are! About 18 of us went for drinks and to see a show in the Udderbelly festival on the South Bank of London, so much fun! I love having a September birthday as it’s my favourite month of the year and everyone is in such a great mood after summer!

I celebrate 10 years of being at QVC – I know, I can hardly believe it either! If you haven’t seen the moment I won the job, check out the video in my special anniversary blog I did.

A new yoga studio ‘More Yoga’ opens round the corner from me and I have been blessed to now be able to do more yoga than ever! Here I am wishing you ‘Namaste’ from the beautiful Muriel on the studio wall.

Wow – what a month! Non-stop busy and truly unforgettable! From meals out with QVC friends to time with my beloved nieces.

From a fun show with Amanda Holden to a perfect Christmas Day with friends… I can honestly say looking back on this month and this year I feel a huge sense of gratitude for my friends, family, loved ones and my wonderful job at QVC, as well as living such a full London life. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

So, that was looking back on a great year, let’s now take a moment to look forward; I am delighted to announce that I will be hosting a full hour’s show with The Speakmans.

You may well have seen them on shows like This Morning and Loose Women as well as in all the national newspapers. They are known for helping people with fears, phobias and issues that are holding people back.

They use a behaviouristic approach to therapy and have created their own ‘schema’ which we will be discussing in the show. So whatever your resolutions for 2018 or the area of life you want to move forward in, be sure to watch the show on January 3rd and find out more about their book and DVD Today’s Special Value.

I am really looking forward to talking to them about anxiety, sleep issues and trying to give up sugar! Anything you would like me to ask them please do post a comment below or tweet me.

So, thanks for your love and support over 2017 and whatever your wishes for 2018 I wish you and yours the very best and send big big hugs.

Craig xx

I teach and have done so for
over 20 years. I inspire people of varying age 17-60 with confidence and they are able to achieve things they never thought possible. Why though, personally do I have no confidence in myself and have no self worth?. I think I can’t all the time, I don’t want to leave my comfort zone. The fun element of my life has disappeared.I am a single Mum aged 50.

      Hi Jenny,

Thank you so much for taking the time out to message me and I’m very sorry for the delay in getting back to you. December turned out to be a very hectic month so it’s great to finally catch up.

Thank you for sharing with me, I honestly think we are all guilty of helping others but not ourselves (even when it’s your job). The Speakmans are brilliant and can help. Not sure if you managed to catch the show? I would definitely recommend them.

I really hope this year brings you positivity and some happiness.

      Craig xx

I have suffered with back pain for over 50 years Now after a hip replacement and a particularly controversial bladder op I am worse and have been thrown awful drugs. I am a widow alone with my dog. I really need help/advice to come off drugs with softly softly withdrawal symptoms. Can the Speakmans help.?

Thanks for your message and sorry for the delay in getting back to you.

So sorry to hear all the problems you have, you’re really having a tough time. I am sure there maybe some aspects of your problems that The Speakmans can help with and it’s definitely worth it looking into.

I really hope that 2018 brings you some positivity, relief and happiness.

      Take care
