Stylish, chic, affordable glamour!
From designing jewellery pieces in her kitchen (she certainly wasn’t cooking, I can tell you!) and then giving them as gifts to her friends (unbeknown to them), to being awarded an MBE in 2015 is quite an achievement, huh!
It’s incredible when I look back to how it all started with Nikki Gewirtz and this fabulous, crazy journey she’s been on ever since. It all began when Nikki received a piece of jewellery as a 30th birthday gift. She was at a cross roads in her life and this gift brought out the creative side in her. Lola was her grandmother’s name, and just perfect for the range she was designing. Her first piece was the tumble bracelet, Amelia Lily, and is still iconic in the range today. We can see many beautiful variations in the stunning semi-precious stones. Nikki discovered that there isn’t a lot of jewellery out there with colour, and her beautiful vibrant colours to chic pastels have become Lola Rose favourites.
My very first piece was bought for me as a birthday present many years ago from Fenwick’s in Bond Street, even before Lola Rose came to QVC. I will be wearing it on air this month, so keep an eye out. Mine is black, but I have chosen the same piece in Turquoise.
The carved rose is also an iconic piece in her range. It’s wonderful to see this design make an appearance during her 15 year celebration show this month. There’s a necklace and a bracelet, and of course, I went for both in the beautiful soft pink quartzite.
If you prefer something more understated in design, which still offers the beauty of Lola Rose, check out this gorgeous Thelma semi-precious necklace.
Enjoy the 15 year celebration shows with Nikki and Anna throughout the month of May, showing you the exciting new pieces that are simply beautiful, and I’ll be wearing a few of my chosen pieces too.
With lots of Lola loveliness,
