L’Occitane’s Christmas Today’s Special Value…and the answers to last week’s microscope challenge!

0

Hi everyone! What a busy time of year this is. I hope you’ve managed to get some Christmas shopping done. I’ve bought a few bits and pieces but still have a long way to go…yikes!

L’Occitane are with us all day this Sunday with their final TSV of the year and it’s just perfect for gifting! For those new to the brand, the story of L’OCcitane began in 1976, in the hills of Haute-Provence, a region of southern France that lies between the Alps and the Mediterranean.

Here, Olivier Baussan, the founder of L’Occitane, was born. For over thirty years, the fields of Provence and the traditions and techniques of this unspoiled land have been the secret and inspiration behind his beauty products. Even today all of their products are developed and produced there, in the small Provençal town of Manosque.

This Today’s Special Value set offers the opportunity to try beautiful scents from Provence, including lavender, rose and cherry blossom in the Floral option; lime and citrus verbena in the fresh option; and almond and vanilla in the Warm across an eight-piece bath and body selection.

It even includes supersizes of L’Occitane’s three most iconic products: the Hand Cream, the Shower Gel (or Almond Oil in the Warm option), and the Liquid Soap. The Hand Creams are in limited fragrances of either Rose, Vanilla or Zesty Lime. Each collection comes with its own beautiful gift box, so you can either give the whole thing away to a loved one or give them out as individual gifts.

Alternatively, if you’re a L’Occitane lover, it’s a lovely indulgent treat for yourself! My choice would be the Warm option as I’m hopelessly in love with the Almond Oil. It’s my favourite L’Occitane product ever! My mum would just love the Floral option that I’ve had the pleasure of trying. In fact, there are a few bits in that one we might have to fight over.

L'Occitane skincare collectionNow, I know I’ve had many of you scratching your heads trying to work out what the pictures were of in my last blog. They were taken of items in my kitchen using a microscope that we sell on QVC which I recently bought. They were so so tough! Only one person managed a correct guess and that was for just one of the pics. Chyna, one of my colleagues guessed chia seeds correctly! I know! Hard to believe as they look like dinosaur eggs! Find out what the all were in the gallery below.

Amazingly difficult! Here’s a much easier one, although it was difficult to get a shot of…

Cat's nose

It’s a close up of Pixiecat’s nostril! Haha! I love my microscope! Geek is the new chic! Who’d have thought science could be so much fun?
