Limited Liz, Ibiza health kick & the Bioeffect results are in!

Emma's BBQHi there!

How are you? Really hope you are well and had a good couple of weeks?

Mine's been good, I've been loving the weather. This last weekend my friend Emma did a BBQ – she is so good at preparing scrummy food – here is a photo of us about to dive in!!

All is good at QVC and thank you so much for watching and supporting me as you always do, I can't believe its been 6 and a half years and you still welcome me into your living room, I never take that privilege for granted.

Liz Earle Limited EditionBit of a skincare theme to my blog this week: firstly did you know that Liz Earle has brought out another limited edition of the iconic Cleanse & Polish? This time it's an Orange Flower & Chamomile and it's wonderful!

Us presenters recently had a training session with the Liz Earle team and got to hear all about the ingredients in the limited edition – the usual beeswax and shea butter, along with orange flower and camomile, resulting in a moisturising, balancing, brightening and soothing formula. I have ordered a couple to stock up and I think a reviewer online summed it perfectly when they described it as "summer in a bottle!!"

Sticking with skincare, do you remember I was doing a 2 week trial of the Bioeffect Try-Me Kit? Click on the video above to see the results I found.

Finally, last Friday marked 12 weeks until I return back to Ibiza for a week's holiday of chilling and partying. I have definitely got my exercise and fitness back on track but do need to improve on my diet and nutrition. So as 12 weeks is a good chunk of time, I am experimenting to see what results I can achieve between now and then.

I have made a promise to myself to exercise at least 5 times every week (running, circuits, yoga, Pilates) and walk wherever possible instead of driving – my Garmin Vivofit is really helping with this.

From a nutrition point of view, I am going to try different things each week to keep it interesting. This last week the change I have made is to cut out my regular afternoon sugary snack that often turns into a major munching session, and this along with the increase in exercise has helped. This coming week I will re-introduce miso into my diet and seriously limit sugar.

As always, I will let you know how I get on!

Do you have a holiday you'd like to get in better health or shape for? I'd love to hear! Also, do let me know if you have tried the limited edition Cleanse & Polish or Bioeffect – we can compare notes!

Much love,

Whenever my friend and I see you on QVC, we always comment on what a lovely, genuine person you are and that we’d love to see you settled with someone special. Don’t know if that’s on your radar at the moment – you always seem to be having a fun time! – but I do look forward to you meeting someone who makes your heart sing.
Good luck with the healthy eating and exercise regime, though you don’t need it – you look very slender on screen but if you feel you need to lose a little, please don’t lose a lot.
    Have fun, and good wishes

    Hi lovely Mr Craig
Sorry not written for a while – life been busy etc etc but always keeping an eye on what you are up to!!! I too love the limited edition cleanse and polish (dare I say it I think I slightly prefer it to the original!!!)!!! I find it leaves my skin feeling very moisturised and a little more radiant.
I have dropped a dress size!!!! Hoorah – haven’t done much except change white rice/pasta for wholemeal and just keeping an eye on what I am eating and eating more fish!! All good – fingers crossed I get good results for a cholesterol blood test which is looming!!! I have a new addiction to infused raisns (Nked) – certainly take care of the sugar hit but in a far healthier way!!
I have two weeks off work soon (first time I have had a fortnight off since 1997!!) Not going away but lots of days out and about with family and friends – very much looking forward to a break and chance to catch up on jobs and people!!!
    Take care Mr Craigy
    Lots of love
    Sarah P

    Hi Susanne,
Thank you so much for your lovely comment! Also say thanks to your friend for me. I’m such a busy bee at the moment and just really enjoying life to be honest. I’m sure when the time is right it will all fall into place.
Thanks, there isn’t much danger of me losing too much! I just love my choccie biccies too much ha ha!
Hope you have a lovely week and stay in touch.

Hi Craig, just a quick note to say I saw you today on the Liz Earle hour & your suggestion of putting the body wash plus a few drops of superskin oil in your bath, is inspired. Having tried it tonight, I can confirm that it works on every level; uber moisturing, smells wonderful, soooo restful & relaxing and it’s doing you good!!! Normally something this indulgent is either loaded with calories, too costly or very bad for you. Another genius tip to add to your collection, along with your idea of suggesting perfumes based on 3 words to describe what smells you like. You are a joy to watch & your enthusiasm, cheer & exuberance are contagious, so a huge smiley thank you, as always.
    Hugs & kisses Penny x

Well done! That’s amazing! It shows what a few healthy changes to our eating can make. Hope the blood tests go well.
If I don’t hear from you before, have a well deserved 2 weeks off!
    Take care
