Let the cat out of the bag…please?

Dinky in a Lulu Guinness handbag Honestly, if my little Dinkycat isn't biting my toes with his needle-like teeth, sitting his furry little bum on my face first thing in the morning or chewing his way through electrical cables then he likes nothing more than to get inside my handbags.

He seems to have specifically favoured my Lulu Guinness bags! Wonder what it is about them? Must ask Lulu if she secretly has catnip sewn into them as he has fallen in love with them. Funny little chap.

My most recent LG bag is the putty-coloured one. I am so in love with it and notice lots of people admiring it when I'm out and about with it. I've never braved a light-coloured bag like this before but it's great! I got some concealer on it and it wipes clean with a bit of kitchen paper and tap water. Fabulous!

Cat in a bag Did anyone else get the Lulu Guinness 'Wanda' Today's Special Value from the other week? What do you think of it? Do you have a cat that insists on sitting in yours? Maybe you have a daughter who insists on borrowing it? I'd love to hear from you so don't be shy. Leave your comments below!

Love, Catherine x

ps: shouldn't really be saying this but Lulu has another Today's Special Value coming up in November. I've seen it and touched it and drooled over it already. Somebody stop me!

Hi Catherine, Love reading about your cats and they are absolutely adorable. We had a bombay who used to constantly chew through many a modem and telephone cables and even managed to call 999. I have circuit breakers on everything. My cats like to sit in my briefcase or laptop case and on papers when I am working. Think its because they like to be the centre of attention. I too have cats who sit their furry little bottoms on my head from 5.00 a.m. to get me up for their breakfast. I have a brown burmese who no other time then when I am working from home or weekends demands that I carry him to the litter tray. Weird but so very cute.

Thanks for all your lovely comments! Today Mr Dinks is being his most stubborn ever!
He keeps trying to chew on my laptop wire and no end of saying no/chasing him with nail polish remover on pads (and tcp)/spraying with a water spray etc etc etc is stopping him! He’s well & truly a Huntley. Determined, stubborn, cheeky, energetic, bonkers and, of course, totally adorable! Hee hee.

Those pictures of Dinkycat are just adorable! I am absolutely loving that pink Lulu handbag though and am thinking I may require one in my life, thought I wanted an Aubergine Lulu, but if there’s pink available then pink it will have to be!
I didn’t buy the TSV (and am still kicking myself for not purchasing it!), but I do have a few Lulu items, I absolutely love her sunglasses and my biggest Lulu splurge was a pleated star Stella bag, it is stunning though and was worth every penny.
Right, I am off to search for that stunning pink bag!

Ahh Catherine your cats are just adorable. I’m a fellow cat lover – I got my little girl from the re-homing centre and she’s definately the boss in our house! Love the bags as well.

    Hi Chrissi!
Thanks so much for your lovely comments. I always enjoy have a good read..especially when cats/Lulu Guinness are the topic of conversation!
I’m afraid the bag is a bright red and not a pink bt I see what you mean as it looks fuschia in the pic. I’ll ask Lulu if there’s any chance of getting some pink patent. Oh I would be right there with you queueing up to buy!
    See you soon!

    Hi Catherine,
I have 4 rescue cats at home, one of which is a very naughty siemeese!!!!!
I LOVE the photo of your beautiful cat in your lulu Guiness bag!!!!!! That cat has the BEST taste!!!
Have you show this photo to Lulu Ginness herself?????
Only an avid QVC customer would appreciate your cat in such an expensive classic bag!!!!
Thank you so much for sharing your amazing photos, its ever so kind of you, and you have really made my day!!!!
Ohhhhh are you going to be getting her new bag at midnight tonight????????
I love her bags sooooooooo much, I REALLY WANT ONE, maybe there will be some beautiful ones on easy pay!!!!????
One quick question, is it leathal working for QVC with so many FABULOUS items, jewellery, craft, bags, make up, etc etc, I think I would be broke for ever more!!!!!! he he,
Keep up the wonderful work, you are a lovely presenter, down to earth too!!!
    Take good care

    Hi Nicky,
I had forgotten about these piccies of the mischievous Dinkycat getting into my Lulu bags!!
He won’t be able to fit into my latest buy at it’s my smallest Lulu bag yet..the cross body ‘Anna’ eyelet bag. I can’t wait for it to arrive!! I wish I’d got in on express delivery!!
In answer to your question about it being tempting working for QVC…totally! I buy at least one thing a month and often it’s more than that!! Gosh, there’s a dawning realisation! The beauty is, though, it’s always something purposeful as opposed to running round the sales on the high street and grabbing things you don’t ever use. From my Dyson to Cooks Essential to It Works cleaning blocks to the luxuries like Lulu Guinness I never regret a purchase! In nearly 7 years I only ever sent one thing back and that was just a personal preference thing.
Nice to hear from a fellow Lulu and cat fan.
    Have a great weekend,
    Love Catherine x
