Hello Geller Girls,
It’s been my absolute joy sharing my beauty tips and tricks with you for the past 11 years.
And, in celebration of you, the loyal customer who has welcomed us in to your home and lives all these years, I’ve put together some amazing collections this month, perfect for every occasion, along with several which speak specifically to my core philosophies as a make-up artist for the last 30 years!
One of these pieces is my Brand new Baked Color & Contour Face Palette with Brush. This 80mm palette houses three of my most iconic baked products all in one place.
Many of my longtime Geller Gals know it’s nearly impossible for the Italian artisans to make this size in baked. Remember baked starts its life as a cream and is then baked for 24 hours on a pure terra-cotta tile to sustain the hydration.
Aside from wanting to create a portable palette of my most universal shades, I am bringing this to you especially for our anniversary visit because this palette encompasses a most tried and true philosophy of mine – contour and highlight. The very first item I brought to QVC was a face-restructuring kit back in 1997, because my heritage as a theatre and film make-up artist is in contour and highlighting.
In fact, I recently came across this photo of me standing in front of my Beauty School sign promoting this very technique of Chiara/Scuro (Italian for light/dark), which I’ve used every day since.
This is for every woman, not just women of a particular age. This is for women who want to showcase their bone structure. Anything you want to soften or recede you add bronzer, and for the places you want to lift and attract light, you add highlight. Lastly, pop on the blush for an added touch of youthful vitality and colour to your skin.
I hope you fall in love with this technique as much as I have, if you haven’t already. Looking forward to many more years (God willing) of traveling to the UK and sharing life with you all.
