Last year’s Breast Cancer Care auction with Joe McElderry

Joe McElderry performing live in the White family living room following 2011 on-air auctionToday is the day of our 'Be Aware, Show You Care' event for Breast Cancer Care. We have lots to look forward to this evening including some great auction prizes during the show.

Last year Mrs White was the highest bidder for an amazing Joe McElderry experience where he would perform a mini concert in her living room for her and 20 friends!

The winning bid of £6,350 was the highest single bid ever recorded for a QVC auction! So this summer Joe travelled up to Mrs White's house and performed live in her living room taking requests from the audience on which songs they'd like him to sing next.

Joe McElderry with the White Family When Joe came in recently he told us "It was very strange!! But I really enjoyed it. It was probably the most random gig I’ve ever done but they were a great audience and we had a lot of fun". Everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves and we would like to thank Joe once again for his support.

If you missed Joe's amazing performance of 'Dance With My Father' during the QVC Be Aware Show You Care show last year, you can see it here. Joe is a QVC favourite and we love having him on-air with us.

He's a big supporter of Breast Cancer Care and performed at their fashion show a few weeks ago. We'll be showing clips during our show tonight so make sure you stay tuned 6pm.

We'll also be unveiling three new on-air auctions tonight and will have another fantastic music guest singing us out of the show just before 9pm.

Don't miss it!
