It's been such an incredible, busy, full-on month so please accept my apologies and I hope this blog helps you catch up on what I've been getting up to.
In part 1, I share with you the delights of a morning spent smelling perfumes, a decadent lunch with a QVC celebrity, an unforgettable trip to Italy, a night of celebration at the UK Jewellery Awards and a upcoming way to find your way without maps, computer printouts or arguments – even if you go abroad!!
July started rather decadently I must say; firstly I spent a morning at L'Artisan Perfumeur in Covent Garden with fragrance expert and QVC guest Florian Pedemanaud. L'artisan is a brand of very high-quality perfumes, fragrances and candles, part of which we sell at QVC.
Florian took me though the brand's history, unique qualities and then the entire pallet of fragrances; it was such an amazing and uplifting experience. I now have some firm favourites that include Premier Figuier, Bois Farine and Traversee du Bosphore. I am hoping I get to host one of these shows at QVC so I will be sure to tell you more then!! In the photo you can see myself and the team at the store.
Justine had been away on her actual birthday so we didn't get chance to celebrate, so it was wonderful to catch up and raise a toast.
In the photo you can see her sporting the Skagen Watch I bought her, she loved it so we were both happy!
Then, it was bags packed and off to Italy! Oh what an amazing trip. I went with my dear friend and QVC colleague Debbie Flint who I have to say was a wonderful travelling companion – we had such a great time and were just kindred spirits.
We had gone to see Ginetta (QVC Veronese guest) who again we have become great friends with over the years. We began our stay in Arezzo spending time with Ginetta – meeting her family, eating the best pizza ever and generally enjoying La Dolce Vita.
Then we had one day and one night in Florence that I think I can safely say both Debs and I fell in love with!
Hope you like the photos and the silly sunset video;

It was such an honour to be there as part of the QVC team along with buyers, senior management, marketing and our beloved Ali Keenan. Andrea McLean, who has a Diamonique range at QVC, also attended and as ever was such great fun to be around.
So as you can imagine a really amazing night was had!
And finally in part 1 of this blog an upcoming TSV (this weekend in fact!) that will help you get around in your car easily, safely and hassle free. It's the latest TomTom satnav – I have been using mine around London which has been so useful during all this madness on the roads and all the changes with the Olympic Lanes. Also, do you notice anything unusual in these photos???
The steering wheel is on the left hand side – yes, the TomTom includes European Maps so I was even able to use it on my recent trip to France. Without the TomTom, wrestling with maps and confusing bits of paper, with the TomTom, driving unknown roads was a breeze!
Part 2 coming up next week, which will include crafting with 4,000 crafters in Doncaster, sunshine with family and friends and a trip to france with my wonderful mum.
How was July for you? What was the highlight?
