My husband is a huge fan of her – are you?

We went to see Julia Fordham perform at the Cadogan Hall to celebrate 25 years since the release of her hugely successful album ‘Porcelain’.

Julia is a British singer-songwriter, beginning her career in the early 1980s. She was a backing singer for Mari Wilson and Kim Wilde until she signed her own record contract. Of her 16 albums – which include ‘China Blue’ and ‘Concrete Love’ – the one that really put her on the map was ‘Porcelain’, released in 1989. It had hit after hit and we listen time after time and still fall in love with it more.

The venue is stunning and every seat was taken with Julia Fordham fans. She has a very distinctive voice and her live performance was to perfection. She is also very humble which is truly appealing, and has a great rapport with her musicians and audience. Julia doesn’t often tour and does very intimate venues, so it was a real treat to see her perform live.

Thought you might like to see some pictures of the night.

Next we’re going to ONCE, the musical starring Ronan Keating. I will let you know what we thought.

Lots of love
Jill
