Jingles, bells, and party whistles!

Happy Christmas everyone, Sending you all hellos, hi’s, high fives and hugs. Has Santa brought you all you wished for?

I imagine most of you will read this after Christmas so I hope you have had a wonderful relaxing day, and have eaten as many turkey sandwiches and mince pies as you can manage! I know I will have : )

I am actually writing this to you a few days before Christmas so I have a couple more days at QVC and then some downtime. Like most of us the run up to the big event has been pretty crazy with buying presents and trees while also working and entertaining family, not to mention the regular everyday stuff we have to do like shopping, laundry and the usual errands. One of the things I love about the run up to the Big Day is choosing presents for my friends and family. I had fun choosing presents for my niece and nephew. Angus is five and loves anything to do with super heroes so I got him the cutest little Thor outfit from QVC.

So I reckon he is going to be very very happy with this. I also thought as my sister-in-law Nicky is such a busy mum that she deserved some great shoes, so I chose her these super cool Skechers trainers.

Which reminds me of my hunt for my own trainers about a month ago… hmmm? I still haven’t found them.

In my last blog I mentioned putting the tree up albeit quite late and here I am putting decorations up…

But I’m not sure I’ll ever get the house looking this amazing! Look at this:

This was such a beautiful old pub called The Churchill Arms in West London. We met up with friends there for some pre-Christmas drinks. I also had my Mum over as she lives in France so it was lovely to get to see her and spoil her with treats. We all went out to a Christmas lunch with live music which was great fun. I love the Big Band style from the 1950’s and you can’t beat live music. Then later on I gave her a little make over using some of my favourite brands. Including IT Cosmetics put on with the Rio brushes.

Something new that I tried this month was Color Wow shampoo and conditioner. This shampoo is utterly brilliant. I had found the highlights in my hair to have become a little dull and after just one wash the colour and brightness came straight back and felt so soft and bouncy again. It also comes with a very cool metallic silver make up bag!

I hope you managed to swoop up some of our incredible Big Deals of late. Keep an eye on the ones in January as we have some exciting ones to share with you.. .and for those of you who love a pie or two then you are in for a treat with this Real Pie selection.

Plus for a jumper with a twist grab this one from Du Jour. I have it in black and have worn it so much. It looks great with jeans and skirts and it’s so soft. Have you heard about Miller Harris yet? If you love fragrances and skincare that make you feel fresh and feminine then definitely take a look at this offer.

I really hope you are all keeping well and warm and are having some well deserved time off. This time of year can be difficult for many people, and lonely too, so keep in touch with each other. A simple call or dropping round to a friends house for a cuppa can make all the difference.

Sending you warm wishes.
