Well, what a wet and gloomy weekend we’ve had. I feel as if I have gone into hibernation mode. Thank goodness for QVC where we can all do our Christmas shopping without freezing or getting wet!
I had a great fun with Glen on air this week. He really is Mr Cool, isn’t he? And he certainly knows his stuff. I can’t believe I let on that I used to wear my shell-suit all the time. He’ll never let me live that down.
It was twenty-five years ago mind you, and shell-suits were in fashion weren’t they? I used to team them up with brightly coloured leg warmers. That was definitely when I was going through my ‘Fame’ stage. I used to love that programme.
Reading Catherine’s gossip definitely took me for a trip down memory lane. Not only did I used to read all those teen magazines, but I used to model for them too. I’ll have to see what I can dig out and if it’s not too embarrassing I’ll share them with you.
Usually for the front cover of ‘My Guy’ you had to hug some spotty teenage boy that you had only just met. I always felt so shy and uncomfortable, but to me it was a top modelling job and I was determined to be professional.
Anyway, here’s to a fun-filled December, I’ll see you on Friday night with some gorgeous Honora Pearls and I just can’t wait for the Thorntons hour on Saturday at 10pm. I have decided to make myself chief taster and sample eveything on your behalf. Oooh, I love my job!
