By the age of 14, Jill was landing TV and theatre roles, and she's appeared in The Darling Buds of May, Tucker's Luck, Grange Hill and a host of TV commercials. At 19, she began starring in West End musicals, including Me and My Girl and West Side Story.

Always room for A Bag Called Wanda!

I am always thrilled to be asked to launch a handbag Today's Special Value offer and this Friday night's going to be a very busy night with our Lulu Guiness TSV!

A true designer in her own right with an OBE to be proud of. Her first ever design was a men's briefcase and she is famous for her birdcage bag amongst the Lulu Guinness collectors.

I was given a sneaky preview of the TSV to try it out as, of course, being known as the QVC Handbag Queen they knew I would put it though its paces and check out every detail with love and passion.

Second time lucky as N Home returns to QVC

As many of you know I love interior design. Renovating, forget it, but interior design? Oh yes! Changing a room with new colours, designs, linens and furniture is a dream for me. It's got to have something to do with my love for fashion, definitely.

Having just moved into my new beautiful home I am having the time of my life with paint colour samples everywhere on the walls in stripes. Neat, tidy and all labelled of course. I wouldn't let you down in that department now would I?

Midnight Tango

Lulu called me and invited me to the opening night of Flavia and Vincent's midnight tango. With dance being my first love how could I say no?

I am a huge Strictly Come Dancing fan and went last year to support Lulu and met Flavia. She is my favourite dancer on Strictly and, having been a dancer myself, you can just spot a dancer who has that special something. You are drawn in by her every move. She feels every beat in every muscle of her body right to the end of her toes and fingertips. She is just an incredible dancer. Vincent, her partner on Strictly Come Dancing, has you mesmorised too. So I was not surprised when they made it to the West End last week opening their own show 'Midnight Tango'.

No time for the January blues

Firstly, I want to say a very belated happy new year and I cannot believe we are already at the end of January. I adore Christmas and always loathe taking down my Christmas tree. I always hold out for as long as possible but of course the deadline is 6th January and, yes, I left it until that final hour.

We saw 'Ghost: The Musical' on Boxing Day and it was fantastic, and yes I blubbed like you wouldn't believe. I tried to hold back but, when everyone else started, I just couldn't hold it back. We are going to see 'Noises Off' and 'One Man, Two Guvnors' this month too as both shows have had amazing reviews.
Any shows I have missed that you loved let me know.

I was due to move home in December and take a holiday in January but no surprise that it didn't quite go to plan. My holiday was actually time well spent doing a huge clear out throughout the house. I did really well and it was so easy until I started on my collection of shoes and handbags, then I went into melt down. They went in and out of the charity boxes like yo-yos but I took a deep breath and went for it and the charity shops were very grateful for my givings. So, of course, I need new ones now to add to my collection.

Dreams do come true...

Disney is coming to QVC! As many of you know I am a huge Disney fan. It's so magical and that's certainly not a figment of our imagination, is it Disney fans?

After all, there is only one Minnie and Mickey, who adore each other, but Mickey tells me in my private meeting with him at Disney in his dressing room ;) (a birthday treat I will never forget) that Minnie has far too many pairs of shoes! My kinda girl, huh!

I always wanted to be one of the kids in the kingdom at Disney (the big dance show at the magic castle that Tinkerbell flies from) and in the Disney parade as either Tinkerbell, Belle from 'Beauty and the Beast' or Minnie Mouse. I am the exact height and size to fit the Minnie criteria. How cool is that?! Well, to me anyway...

Strictly Lulu!

My night at Strictly Come Dancing was really a night to dedicate to Lulu.

Lulu had invited Larry and me to be among her guests for the evening at the live show on Saturday night.

She had the most magnificent flying entrance the previous week and wowed the judges, and this week it was the Tango. A little more technical and dramatic but Lulu's such a pro and an amazing performer that I knew even if she went out it would be in true style.

Knight to see you to see you knight!

When I was asked to interview Bruce Forsyth I knew it would be a day to remember and that it would also take me down memory lane.

As a dancer I worked with Bruce in two Royal Variety Shows and watching him then (I was about 22) from the wings you could see he was born to entertain.

He has an incredibly calm, friendly way about him that puts you at ease immediately, after all he is a true legend and, at long last, a Sir, of which he is so proud - he has a glint in his eye when he talks about it.

Tonight's the night for One Night Only!

Wow, what a crazy few weeks it has been at QVC what with interviewing the cast of 'Billy Elliot' and getting a chance to tap dance in the studio with Billy Elliot himself. It was so much fun and brought back so many memories of my special time in the West End where we used to warm up to many iconic people's routines including Fred Astaire, Ginger Rogers and Sammy Davis Jr, so the feet tapped with such ease it was a breeze.

Before I flew out to New York for QVC's Fashion Night Out, John Barrowman was back at QVC with his new album 'Tonight's The Night: The Very Best of John Barrowman'.

Meeting SJP...

I was dying to see what she was wearing and of course the shoes... the shoes... how could I not!

It was a real honour to have been invited to interview her as she gave just two interviews. We were given just one question prior to the interview by her PR team, who were magnificent in operation.

You could hear her arrival as the crowd were screaming and she was ushered into our room, which I will tell you was the size of a box big enough to fit the hand selected crew.

I was introduced to her, we got on great and, of course, we hit it off! She was truly adorable, very kind and looked just stunning. Her dress was black leather which had small cut outs in and was cinched in at the waist which showed of her incredible figure. Her shoes were true SJP shoes too!
