Jill Franks: My 15th wedding anniversary!

Jill and her husband on their wedding dayOn 22nd November my husband and I celebrate our 15th wedding anniversay. I found out that 15 years is crystal… although I tried to convince him it was diamonds!

We got married overlooking the beautiful Atlantic Ocean in a little chapel on the Caribbean island of St Lucia. It’s a day we will remember forever! Plus, it was the beginning of our love of tropical destinations, stunning coastlines and the start of a great life together.

15 years on we still love to laugh everyday and live for every moment. He is my love, my life! (a quote from the film Spartacus)

Anniversaries are a good way to reflect on your life together and to remember to enjoy every moment…

Does anyone else have a wedding anniversary coming up?

Love Jill x

Belated congratulations, Jill, on your 15th Anniversary – (I have just been in sunny Portugal for a couple of weeks!). I too love the Carribean and, especially St Lucia!. You looked beautiful on your wedding day and your husband is extremely ‘dishy’!

Oh Jean Thankyou. We had an amazing time and the day was perfect. My dress was taken from 2 different designs I had seen and then put together with ideas of mine and the designers. I was so excited when I had my final fitting. Knowing it was going to be very hot I had to be make sure I would be cool on the day but feel like a special bride. My husband loves portugal too and I hope it was a lovely break from the cold we have here. Even though I say so myself jean I think hubbys rather gorgeous!!!

    Hi Jill
My husband and I celebrate our first wedding anniversary on 5th Jan next year. We too had a beach wedding. Ours was on Indian Rocks Beach, on the Gulf coast of Florida. We decided to get married on the same day that we got engaged 9 years previous and that was in Florida too!!

This year you’re gonna celebrate your 24th anniversary if my calculations are right XD. Then its only a year before you reach your Silver anniversary which is the 25th. That’s considered a great milestone for marriages. Best wishes!!!
