New jewellery designer Sima K and her love of London

Sima K Hi I'm Sima K, designer of the Carnival of Colours collection.

I was lucky enough to make my first visit to London earlier this year, arranged for me by QVC. And it's the city that stole my heart!

Upon arriving I was captivated. I knew my mission was to convince QVC that my personality and talent would fit in with this illustrious city.

Sima K logo I'm happy to say that I was welcomed with open arms! My jewellery, which is so much inspired by my world travels, immediately appealed to their vision. I felt like I belonged in London's diverse, beautiful culture.

What I love about London is the sophisticated atmosphere that touches everything you see. From the people with their authentic accents to the police officers in their uniforms.Sima with London bobbies From the stunning historical buildings to the classic pubs, and even the red phone boxes and double decker buses.

Coming from New York, I appreciate the energy London offers, but what distinguished this city from the rest of the world is that energy co-mingled with a sense of homeliness, cleanliness – and green everywhere you looked! I was mesmerised.

It was a truly remarkable experience for me. As a virgin to this great beauty of a place, I made sure to get a show on QVC UK so that I can come and visit this captivating city again!

Tune in for the premiere of Carnival of Colours by Sima K at 9pm on Thursday 17th June.

Beautiful range of jewellery. A bit expensive for me to be able to justify buying it. I do prefer art deco and arts and crafts jewellery.
