Jemma Kidd is back on your screens tomorrow (Thursday 30th September) at 4pm with her professional, multi-functional make-up. She has a wealth of make-up knowledge and expertise and here she shares the hottest beauty trends tipped for the top this autumn…
Matte but radiant skin
This season is all about creating a natural-looking, fresh-faced glow. Forget summer’s hi-shine finish and opt for a matte yet luminous look instead. Prime skin with a moisturising serum before applying your foundation, then dust with a perfecting powder for a matte, silky finish.
Eye make-up for autumn has a distinctly minimalist feel to it. Eyes are taking a break from bold colour in favour of a more neutral palette of taupe, toffee, mink and beige. Apply a slick of mascara and a gentle wash of eyeshadow across your lids to really open up the eyes.

Bold, prominent brows are here to stay for autumn/winter. The look is big but on the right side of bushy, so add definition to yours with subtle strokes of brow powder then brush through with clear brow gel to keep them looking groomed.

The red lip is back for the winter months. Keep things contemporary by updating the tone or texture of your lipstick; try deeper berry shades rather than classic scarlet or blot your ‘colour du jour’ with a tissue for a modern-matte look.
