I’ve fallen in love with my Dell netbook!

Craig checks the cinema times on his Dell netbook while he's in the pub Hi there,

Hope you're all well and have had a great week. I just had to catch up with you because I'm so excited about the brilliant Today's Special Value from Dell.

It's truly exciting as it's the first Dell TSV we've brought you for 18 months.

Dell is a great brand name with expertise in making fabulous computers, and they're also renowned for injecting a bit of colour and fun into home computing.

I've been lucky enough to try out this TSV netbook on your behalf for the last couple of weeks. My first reaction when I opened the box was how good it looked, and also how compact and light it is. I'm used to carrying a conventional laptop, so the difference in weight and size is striking!

Craig catches up on his emails on the Dell netbook Just to give you an idea of how portable and versatile this netbook is, I've got my mates to snap a pic of me using it just about everywhere I went! As you can see from the various photographs, I've certainly put it through its paces!

I caught up on my emails whilst sitting next to the fire at my friend Jule's country cottage, then while he was mucking out his stables, Craig at the stables, organising his holiday photos on his Dell netbook I sat and organised some of my holiday photos.

When I was in the pub I checked out the cinema times for me and a group friends while we enjoyed a couple of drinks, and when I went over to my mate Lotte's house, Gemma and I decided on the spur of the moment to make homemade cookies. We didn't have a recipe to hand so we did a quick search online on the Dell and found the perfect version.

Craig and Gemma check out recipes on the Dell netbook I've even taken to using the netbook in my bedroom to watch BBC iPlayer as I don't have a TV in there. The 10" screen has the most wonderful colour and picture quality, so I've caught up on many a good episode of their wonderful wildlife programmes.

From a technical point of view, the netbook has a brilliant processor so it works really quickly, even when you have several windows open at once. Craig using his Dell netbook to watch BBC iPlayer in the bedroom It also has a mighty 250GB of storage, so there's plenty of room for your photos, music, videos, documents and stuff.

It's really comfortable to use with a great keyboard with lovely curved keys (like a PC), and the screen has amazing clarity. It's even got three USB hubs for your camcorder, digital camera and MP3 player, plus a SD card slot too.

All in all, it's a great little netbook with cracking specs and in fab colours – the only thing I have to do now is choose which one to buy! At the moment it's a tie between the red and white; oh decisions, decisions!

Hope you can catch me launching the Dell at midnight, and hope you love it as much as I do!

See you soon,
Craig xx
