Well, the Gatineau TSV seems a long time ago now. Apologies for a slightly delayed blog post – I'll try to make sure a new one is always up by the end of each week for you regulars! Plus, do look out for the next wonderful beauty TSV from Decleor – catch it on Sunday 22nd November.
I've been using the Gatineau, and a little of the Prai, and finding my skin's got an extra glow to it, which is lovely and specially handy when I don't get enough sleep due to early starts (I'm not a morning person for sure!).
Last week I loved doing the Pilates hour – that also brings a glow to your cheeks, bouncing on that rebounder, I can tell you! But no stress on the joints. I'll definitely add it to my list of purchases from QVC to tie in with the health kick I'm putting myself on. Yes, I got a little lazy over the last few years.
I'm back on a health and fitness regime
Part of what I did during my nine-year absence from QVC was work in an office for a few years. I actually ran my own company then branched out into my original career – finance – and ended up managing a team of lovely mortgage people. Trouble is, so many colleagues were bringing in sweets and cakes for every birthday, success or commiseration! I ended up gradually slipping up the scales, and didn't look my best by the time I got back into shopping telly again.
When I knew I was coming back to QVC I figured there was bound to be a product to help me out, rather than just use the system I used originally to lose 35lbs. Sure enough, I soon heard about Diet Chef. I'm still going to rely upon the safety net of some of the freedom eating rules (more of that another time!), but thought it'd be lovely to try these delicious meals everyone's been raving about! I've just received my first delivery of the Diet Chef pack so watch this space…
A girly trip to Dorset
One of the things I love to do is walking with Labradors in the Dorking countryside near to where I live. But, I also like to go exploring. So for Mummy's birthday, part of her pressie was the two of us going to Dorset together.
We visited Lulworth Cove and then went walking round Monkey World for an afternoon. I love Monkey Business and Monkey Life – both shows follow the fortunes of the various fun primates rescued by the famous animal sanctuary.
I asked Mummy would she prefer a personal tour guide to show us round, or would she like to sponsor a monkey. She said I already sponsor a monkey! (I didn't ask which of her five children she was referring to!). Anyway the clips are below – enjoy them!
Have a good week and I'll bring you some more behind the scenes stuff in the next blog.
P.S. Don't forget to register for QVC's Facebook fan site if you're a member – I posted a little update there this week and there's often fabulous inside knowledge and advance warnings about what's going on your favourite shopping channel!
