It's time to introduce you to Sherbert, Colonel Sherbert to be precise! He's finally reached the age, well, almost just 2 days to go, when he can go outside and quite frankly it can't come soon enough!
He spends HOURS sitting at the kitchen window eyeing up the birds in the front garden and makes a funny clicking sound whilst twitching his entire body – he's going to have a ball!
However, I was always led to believe cats hate water? Not this one. I turn on the kitchen tap and he races over, leaps to the side of the sink and sticks his head under it!
Not only that, he likes to dip his feet in the dog's water bowl and then suck his toes (don't ask), loves to balance on the side of the loo and always joins in when the bath is running – truly a mental cat.
But then it seems that no one is normal in my family, animal OR human, but as you can see it's a happy mix as I often come home to find both dog and cat cuddled up to each other!
Are you all enjoying our Christmas footage?
Now I know Christmas is everywhere, however we still have birthdays on the go and I am SOOOOO proud of the birthday cake I made for Myles last week who turned 9 (yes, 9!). It's a Lego vampire castle cake which I presented to him as he sat doing his homework on the kitchen table.
No idea how that thought process came about but now you can see that it's not only my brain that goes off in tangents, it's clearly in the genes!
Anyway, time to go I've a best woman speech to write. Never done one before and quite frankly I'm rather nervous. Not only that, I'm also doing my friend's make up for her big day. We did a dummy run the other night whilst watching Moonraker and eating delicious homemade curry.
Fingers crossed it'll all be ok. I have to say I was chuffed to bits with the transformation of her skin. New Cid Foundation ROCKS with a touch of Jemma Kidd highlighter, plus once her eyes were done she looked amazing. Let's hope we can repeat this weekend!
