It’s been a busy week! Part 3

The gang enjoy themselves at Kensington Roof Gardens So, after spending time with my niece Jasmine and a 19 hour round trip to Dorset, it was still only Thursday! That night I joined some friends for a party at the Roof Gardens in Kensington. Wow, what an amazing location! It's hard to believe you're in central London as it feels more like a resort in the Med!

We had so much fun talking and dancing; the only slight annoyance was the price of the drinks. I don't mean to sound bah-humbug, but why do these bars charge so handsomely for drinks? Is it because they're up on a roof and have a captive audience?!

Off for dinner at St Clement's And so to the weekend, and it was back to St Leonards-on-Sea. For those of you who read my blog, you'll already know how much I like St Leonards. The reason for my visit was that it was my dear friends Elaine's birthday. I won't tell you exactly which one, but it ends in a '0'!

To celebrate we went to a lovely seafood restaurant called St Clement's – the bread and butter pudding was to die for, honestly, me and my desserts!!!. To round off the night we carried on to the Royal Victoria Hotel for coffee and brandy.

Lunch at Smiths On Monday we met up with Elaine again and went to my favourite eaterie in St Leonards called Smiths. It sits right on the seafront and has the most amazing views, and the sea air really perks up your appetite! Sadly they'd sold out of their incredible chocolate flapjack, but I made up for it with some apricot crumble, yum!

All in all it was a really enjoyable week and weekend, if a little fuller than usual! It also made me realise just how lucky I am to have such wonderful friends and family, a blessing I never take for granted.

Chilling at St Leonards So far this week has been much quieter so I'm catching up on a few jobs before heading off to Cornwall for the bank holiday – rest assured there will be photos from there soon!

I just wanted to end by saying thank you so much for reading my blog and your kind comments. Also a very BIG thank you to Pat and Leigh Clark in St Leonards for the wonderful postcard you sent me, it was very gratefully received!

So I'll see you all soon. Keep watching on Friday mornings as I'm now the regular host of The Morning Show!

Till next time,
Lots of love,
Craig. x.
