Ingenue celebrates its first anniversary on QVC

Ingenue This bank holiday Monday fashion range Ingenue London will be celebrating their first anniversary on QVC!

We recently caught up with guest, Mena Ryan to tell us more about her experiences of being on QVC and what we can expect from the new Spring/Summer collection…

Tell us about your first year at QVC

It's been a fantastic year, one that has really allowed us to show our collection in a whole new way; it's been great to be able to chat about the styles and what makes them work, and the thought process behind it.

I've truly loved working with the amazing buying team, it's great having an open dialogue where great ideas can flow. I've also had the pleasure of having relaxed and fun chats with the down-to-earth QVC presenters, Pipa Gordon, Jill Franks, Catherine Huntley, Alison Keenan, Simon Biagi!

Ingenue 2Describe the philosophy behind the Ingenue range

Ingenue is for every woman, it's about feeling the best you can be in your clothes and ensuring you can really live the life you want to live without feeling restricted!

It's a collection for the modern woman in this busy world, who wants to look and feel her best, who isn't afraid of embracing print and colour: life is too short to wear black!

Our range is full of great feminine, modern styles that flatter and empower. We love Print at Ingenue and know that it can be super flattering on the right shape! Our prints range from bold graphics and feminine florals with a modern twist, to classic dots.

With so many different styles and a wide range of day dresses that will take you from work to that wedding, to perfect maxi dresses for whisking you from city life to the beach cocktails, what really is at the core of Ingenue is the perfect every day dress with sleeves. Wearability is key to how we think!

Of course, one of the most important features of our range is ease of caring. Simply machine wash at 30 degrees and hang up – no iron, no dry cleaning and they don't crease!

Ingenue 3What can we expect to see from the range this spring/summer season?

I'm so excited to show the collection on Monday's show. We have added amazing new shapes to this season's collection; the BAILEY, the LOLA - perfect sleeved dresses (I've worn both to early May weddings), to our new hot style, THE ENE, in a graphic Miami-inspired print!

We have a few exclusives for QVC in our Ellie top and Hayley skirt, Donna dress! The prints are so beautiful this season, from on-trend snake to graphic leopard and floral oriental prints, the perfect monochrome print in graphic tribal textile, which lends itself so well to so many styles!

I'm so excited to show viewers our new Jumpsuit, The Leah, which really is stunning, and even has a little sleeve: it's our most wearable all-in-one ever! This season's collection is elegant and feminine with a modern edge…

Any hints about new designs coming up for autumn/winter?

I am working on our Autumn/Winter collection at the moment and I've definitely been inspired by Hitchcock heroines: the feminity and power, the elegance of that era. Print will be pixellated floral, 1940/1950s graphic-inspired prints, with a clean look. Colour will still be strong with winter reds, emeralds, royal blues being featured colours.

Tune in on Monday at 1pm and 7pm to see more from the range

I love the Ingenue range, but sadly am petite and a size 6.
It would be wonderful if you could bring out a smaller size for us petite women. A petite range would be even better!

Love the look of this range, but really need size 20 which you don’t seem to do. Would it be possible to extend the range for us bigger girls, Please…
